2 Night car camping near Mount Cook in New Zealand in July (Winter in New Zealand). Bitterly cold and some awful weather but overall we enjoyed it. The OZTent RV3 held up to extreme conditions with just a minor tear. Had my Ford Ranger truck there just in case I needed to bail. Thanks for coming, hope you enjoy. Happy July 4th to my American viewers.

Very relaxing, one of the best camping channels on KZfaq. Love your interaction with Bruce while camping, you are the best partner. I am very emotional, if there is the opportunity and time, really want to camp once, twice, three times... The person who is reading this comment, I wish you great success, health, and happiness! Hope you can also relax camping many times.

Tony, you worry too much about everything. I live in Maine and so much enjoy seeing all the weather conditions that New Zealand can have. I’ve camped on the West Coast and I’ve camped in Maine. All of the conditions that you’ve talked about weatherwise I have experienced. It just happens. There’s nothing you can do about it and that is one of the interesting things about your channel being the differences and whether how you cope with them. If people don’t like something and it’s not “perfect” then they can just not listen or watch. It’s very evident from the number of people that say they like your videos but you don’t have to worry about losing a few. Smile. Brucey is absolutely adorable. I could bring him home with me anytime. So you better keep an eye on him and someone doesn’t walk off with that precious little pooch!

Tony and Bruce - your videos just make my day. More entertaining than a movie. Live in Maine and find it interesting you have no problems with animals. We have to stash food hanging from trees - black bear in the warmer weather - and occasional deer. Lots of other forest creatures wander around as well. We also have black fly season and mosquitos have teeth. Winter camping is much better - but rent a yurt with a small wood stove and bring equipment on a sled and cross country ski during the day. Where we camp is about a mile in from the parking area. Just love Bruce.

Good morning Tony and Bruce 😊 I'm writing this from Florida on our July 4th holiday. 🇺🇸🎆 and we are expecting temps in rhe 80s as usual. I think Bruce missed the treat he usually gets when you get to camp. Truck camping is my favorite because I don't have to feel guilty watching you struggle through adverse conditions to get to your site and I love all the gadgets you take. Great video as usual. The hours you drove just to get to camp to share stunning Mt Cook with us shows 2 things: Your pride in and love of your adopted country and your love and appreciation of your viewers. So thank you for all rhat you do for us. 👍A couple of questions: wouldn't you think EV mfgs could find an efficient way to incorporate solar panels on the vehicles? I also thought some could recharge their batteries while running but stopped (idling). Next, would it be possible to retrofit a type of shutoff valve on the gas line to the heater that would allow you to regulate the flow like is used for water and thus not have it running full blast ? A shame about Bruce being restricted (but understandable). Always love and appreciate your nature shots and the wind noise adds to getting the feel. Sometimes I listen to videos with wind noise or thunderstorms to fall asleep to.The helicopter reminded me of the lost hikers in one of your videos and I missed finding the whole story 😕 It sucks you have sandflies in the wind and cold! Maybe you defrosted them 😛 With the wind gusts I was glad you had your truck in case you have to retreat to it like the other time 👌Great video overall! Thanks for sharing. The best laid plans of mice (Tony) and men... Love and blessings to you and your family 💗🙏

Another wonderful video, Tony. I became a subscriber back when you had 7k of them. It’s pretty amazing to me how quickly you grew your channel to where it is now. It’s a real tribute to your ability to establish a personal connection with so many people around the world by talking to a camera - and, of course, to the star power of Bruce. :)

Tony and Brucey thank you so much for the wonderful trip. Yes!!! Mount Cook and the lakes were spectacular and beautiful. This was one of your fantastic and amazing weekend camp adventure. I'm sorry the wind spoiled it but I could see you and Brucey still had a good time. I just want to encourage you that your hard work on the videos is the best great job. 👍🏽👍🏽. I enjoyed your waffles so much. I ordered a waffle maker online. 😆. Now that pizza 🍕 maker I'm also tempted to order. That was a good tent. I thought it was gonna flip you and Brucey over. Thank God you both made it safely through two nights. Again thank you for inviting us a long can't wait for our next trip. I love the car camping and all. Blessings and peace from California. 🧇🥓🥓 🍕🍕☕🏕️🛻

Tony, My late husband and I visited New Zealand in 1986, being farmers from Indiana, we visited on behalf of the U.S. Ag dept. In conjunction with the New Zealand Sheep producers. I have since told people that out of all the places I have visited all over the world, New Zealand had to be the closest thing to heaven on earth. Just spectacular. I am in envy. Mount Cook is majestic.

I just started car camping as a 40 year old and I stumbled on your videos because I was interested in one of the tents you reviewed. I ended up watching a lot of your videos in the last two days because of the variety of situations you put yourself in with car camping and it gives me a lot of insight on the situations and gear you used! Thank you for sharing.
