My heart goes out to you and your family. I’ve been watching since when you started and watched your video when you want out after your father pasted. I lost my Uncle on Christmas Day so I do understand. Don’t apologize for missing someone you love, I’m having a hard time myself and cry a lot “hugs you tight” your an amazing person with a huge heart and you love Brucey so much 😉 he is an amazing dog ❤️ This year has been terrible in so many ways and to add insult to injury property and home damage for you. My prayers and healing white light I send to you all. These are the times that above all need to stay positive and rely on each other. You both and your family will get through this one day at a time with love and faith 🥰❤️ all my prayers and love from the Pocono Mountains, PA 🇺🇸

Sir, Thank you again for these videos which have been instructive, and therapeutic. Sharing your emotions was appreciated for your transparency, humility and grace. I do hope you return to the camp by the sea, this time absent such stormy weather that tested your mettle along with some of the equipment. I appreciate the patience you demonstrate with whatever task is at hand, from setting up to tearing down and all that lies in between. What you say is just as important as what you are doing. Taking what comes and adapting, modifying and overcoming is what you do well while both informing and entertaining us with sights, sounds, and silence. As so many have shared, the sound of rain is soothing offering serenity when other things demand so much from all of us. Bruce is the best companion and fellow adventurer. Stay healthy, stay strong.

We have a chance to be with the one who created all of this. I can't imagine what He has in store for us if we follow Him. AB, If you are a reflection of your dad, then he must have been a great guy to hang around with. 1st off don't ever apologize for showing your emotions. We are here for you. You and I are kind of in the same boat my friend. I lost my father in 2018 from a random heart attack at the age of 52 and then I lost my home I grew up in. I found your videos on my recommendation feed so I watched it. I then watched all your videos. You have inspired me to live life and to stay positive. Thank you. Stay strong my man. You will get through the hardships and we will be here.

I’m so sorry to read that. My children’s dad died in a car accident and he also was 52 and we almost lost the house that they grew up in (We have 4 children-all adults). The mortgage company was doing everything they could to try to steal the house even though payments are being made once they found out my husband was dead. Anyhow we saved the house, but it took a lot of mental fortitude, and I know that’s really hard to have to go through such congruent losses one loss colliding into another, I’ll tell you this, it is nice, to think of doing things like going outdoors and watching people have positive experiences and being motivated by them. And you sound like you have such a resilient nature. I’ll pray for you and your family

Having spent the last 25 years in emergency medicine & bring a parent I can tell you this. You have feel bad for not physically being there with your Dad at his passing but he knew you were there with him. You were with him when you could be & I am sure he appreciated that more then you know. Any parent understands when their children grow & start a life & family of their own that becomes their priority, as it should. I am glad you & your family are doing ok & surviving the struggles. Im sure your heart feels better getting that off Your chest. Thank you for taking a night away & sharing it & Brice with all of us. Continued prayers for you all & your hoke situation. Hopefully everything turns out ok with your insurance company. 🙏🏼♥️

Tony,, I thought about you and your dad all night and this morning when I woke up and got on to my computer for another day of work, I started to think of my dad who passed away about 15 years ago. I loved him very much and first introduced me to camping when I was very young. Your tears and wishes that you could have been with him is his legacy to you. And you can rest easy knowing that the winds of changing time and space will once again at some point bring you together again. It will bring us all together. And look at how many people love you and how many of us you reach. I am sure that everyone that took time to make a comment feel like they are your friends and this includes me also. btw, I love the 3 hour videos!!! count one more vote for that!! Cheers my friend! You were there. Physical presence isn’t “being there” for dying as much as leaving them with love & support. Otherwise those of us who have lost loved ones suddenly and without being able to be there physically would be sentenced to a life of guilt. All your dad needed was to know that you loved him. That’s what he took with him. BTW, Cool head, that guy made for you.

No worries, I how you feel. I lost my Dad to Cancer too.It does take a very long time before you actually notice that your heart doesn't hurt anymore or at least not as much as it did. You never forget so you have to remember all the good times you had with your Dad. Know that he's always watching over you.

Don't be embarrassed about showing how you feel. My husband and I have gone through a lot of loss of loved ones and sometimes it becomes overwhelming. I find by leaning on my husband who is my greatest love and support I get through it. Also I personally believe my faith in God helps immensely. When I think I can't handle any more I get strength and I know it comes from him. Because it comes out of nowhere. I'm not trying to force religion down your throat just telling you what helps me.

So I work at night, riding my bike around delivering papers and today I randomly listened to this video without knowing how anything looked while working and It was strangely fun to imagine everything, hearing the rain was awesome + you talking made the time fly by even faster so I think I will try this every time. Now to watch again and see cute Bruce being Bruce ❤️DB

I always love watching your videos. I love your accent. I still get emotional 😭 about my Dad and he’s been gone 30 years. I was blessed to have gone to the Philippines with my dad to meet my relatives before he passed. Showing our emotions is natural. I’m sorry for your loss. Oops forgot I love Brucie and love seeing him.

So glad to see you're back in action! That was quite an experience in the hurricane - your reactions were great but it was dangerous. Don't apologize for being emotional - death is not natural it goes contrary to what comes naturally like birth. The greatest man whoever lived shed tears over the death of Lazarus even he knew he was going to resurrect him - he felt the family pain. Keep doing your videos in your methodology - it works and people enjoy it very much! Ciao

This is why I subscribed to your channel, because you are real. You talk about the hardships you're facing and aren't fearful to shit on poorly manufactored products. Plus, you have good taste in beer. Thanks for this video, especially when you're going through crappy circumstances.

After keeping this family recipe a closely guarded secret for over 50 years, I'm giving it to you & Bruce, called Gongos campfire beans, in memory of my dad, try it, you won't regret it... 😛(Don't tell anyone else! 😅) Fry 2 chopped onions in a pan until translucent 🌰🌰 Add tin of chopped corned beef, stir.. 🐄 Add 2 tins of beans🥫🥫stir, season with pepper, eat with crusty bread.. 🍞DELISH! Happy eating, love from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Love this video. As far as the emotions go. I lost my mother several years ago and my only regret was moving 1200 miles away from her and not spending more time with her as an adult. Love you and Bruce. Thank you for the long version of this trip. So much better! Enjoying a Cigar while watching. Cheers!

I am 43 years old and I don't know much, however, what I do know is it is never stupid to love or care about another human being or to express that love or hurt over its loss. With that said, crying and mourning the loss of someone that you love is also not stupid, and if anything it is the purest expression of the gratitude you had for being a part of their life and equally them being a part of yours. We have a right to be in pain when we lose someone who was a large part of our lives, so never feel like you owe your audience an apology for expressing your hurt. It takes a special kind of person to express the importance of another person in their life, and anyone who would give you guff for it, really needs an eye opener. Life is simply too short to pretend we are strong when we are not, to pretend we are brave when we don't have to be, or to force our pride to over power our priorities. True strength comes in the discovery that we really don't have strength without one another being a part of each others lives. My heart and kindest sympathies to you and your family in you time of mourning.
