I want that too. But the actress is also on 9-1-1, and maybe something else. So maybe she would've been a main character if the actress didn't have any busy schedule.

I hope they make her a main character on Station 19. I never actually paid attention to her character on 911. I know she is Hen wife but I prefer her better in this role. She definitely drops some real knowledge on these firefighters.

#Station19's inclusion of Diane to address mental health is a powerful testament to the show's commitment to real-world issues. These storylines not only resonate with viewers but also provide a platform for important discussions. The impact goes beyond entertainment, shedding light on mental health struggles and fostering understanding. Canceling #Station19 would mean silencing these vital conversations, and the potential to help countless viewers would be lost. #SaveStation19

Guys if you’re struggling go see a therapist and get some mental health help or try some of the mental health helplines, try different therapists and see which one fits the best for you they’ll do what Diane does

This show has disrespected Dean’s death from the beginning. I don’t know why we need to hear over and over how Vic didn’t love Dean back. This was the show that’s supposed to highlight the weight of the loss of Dean right after his death?! It felt like only one firefighter really cared about Dean. And that person was not Vic. So why waste all of this time on her? Why compare him to Riley, just for Vic to undercut any significance of Dean to her by saying he was not as important to her as Riley. Well, he was *that* important to someone, even if wasn’t to Vic! I just don’t understand the choices here. We didn’t get any real emotional beats from Jack when Dean died. It was all about poor Vic. Poor Vic working through her non feelings for Miller. They even didn’t show Travis telling Vic but we are supposed to be heartbroken for her. Even during this show, we are supposed to concerned about Vic. Instead of a funeral celebrating Dean, we get a time jump and scenes of Vic lying in bed. Vic is supposed to represent the audience. But all her scenes are about her feeling bad about not loving Miller. They are not really about losing Miller. We even get for some reason a scene with Vic’s boyfriend, who didn’t thank Miller for risking his life for Vic and didn’t seem to care about Miller at all. Yet the audience needed to see Andy comfort him and tell him not to worry? Vic loves him more than the dead guy that saved her life? Meanwhile, the guy that really loved Dean like family sits silently. Jack’s grief is used only for background noise. I thought that the shows immediately following a character’s death are supposed to have some real emotional weight on them, like Herera and Riley. Hell, even the weight of Duluca’s death was felt on 19 thanks to Carina. This episode could have been so much more if it focused on Jack, the firefighter closest to Miller. Instead it was all about Vic who has a weak heart but not for Miller. Whatever.

Some of the scenes seem like flashback but it actually aired in the succeeding show "Grey's Anatomy" as this is actually a two-episode crossover between the 2 shows. So if you want to see how Travis told Vic how Dean died you should watch the Grey's episode following the episode of station 19 when Dean died.
@creating1_c19992 жыл бұрын
I hear you. His name was Ripley, not Riley. I think the show needs to go to therapy. It never dealt with Ripley's death. They used Vic to help tie and bridge Greys/Station 19 along with Jackson (Greys). They show the importance of the character in the way they choose to write the departure and who it appears to affect most. Vic and Sullivan knew Ripley most, but the show chose to push their scenes aside and use them to prop and make his death about people who didn't even have much of an attachment to him. They wanted Vic to get over the death of Ripley, so that the audience could do the same. It doesn't matter to me that Dean died, because Oak wanted out. Now the remnants of his existence are the shows problem. I don't really know why they are doing all of this surrounding Vic for any other reason being that they are too mourning the idea of Vic/Dean never landing, because they were not allowed to execute their idea and had to creatively torch it when they knew Oak was leaving. Pru remains and the mourning is ending and shifting to her custody. There's quite more I'd like to say, but I'll stop here and say that Oak did the right thing to leave this show. It never did right by him and wasted his time on the show. Barrett needs to give them notice too, because now that Oak has gone, she's carrying the rest of these bumbling idiots.

I know this is beating a dead drum and probably not the right place to say it, but to air additional annoyances on how Station 19 is handling this, my additional thoughts: 1. Why did Dean need to die in the first place? Have him accept the job and even be injured and advance the story. If the end game was meant to be Vic’ pain, you achieve that anyway. 2. Why the heck are they pushing this story line of his daughter being adopted by Bailey rather than his parents who are perfectly able and willing? I could go on, but…you hit all the highlights!
@creating1_c19992 жыл бұрын
@@psblack86 I agree. The universe that is Greys is founded by Shonda Rhimes who is thrice a mother via adoption. It appears that all of the children for the most part exist in a universe where natural parents hardly exist. It didn't surprise me that Pru would be left dangling especially once her mother abandoned her. I'm just glad Dean didn't leave her behind. I'm like you, believe her grandparents and her aunt should take her, but I'm most certain than not believing that she'll wind up with the Warren's. With that said, the show will not last long enough to see the outcome unless they do a spin off and age the children.
@ewwhoisshe2 жыл бұрын
@@psblack86 1. Oak asked to killed off 2. Dean asked Ben twice if he and Bailey would take Pru if he died. His upbringing wasn’t all that great which is why he asked Ben and Bailey instead of his parents
