Volunteers were able to map the imprints of new dinosaur tracks revealed by a historic drought at Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas.

Haven’t been to Dinosaur valley state park since I was 16.. very cool place. I saw tracks back then. Drought revealing more now. Very cool, preserve them.

This is a magnificent place. My wife loves dinosaurs, she made me watch all the Jurassic park movies. But, it is very interesting how these footprints stay there hidden all this years. I have never been to a precious place like that. Very cool. Imagine how cool it was to have these creatures walking freely back then.

@@crimsonroses7602 yep, I’ve met several people who have this same belief. But unfortunately some people just aren’t as exposed to all the knowledge and information about the scientific method that goes on to tell us that these creatures roamed millions of years ago. But we can’t hate or dislike those people, we just need to understand there point of view. The Bible is some very sacred text, I may not follow it. But I respect it, and those that do.

The tracks were baked into the ground like cement or may have been tracks of another unknown giant creature.

@@jeffhruska8626 How, when the previous ones never did? You can easily tell those prints are fixed into the sediment and solidified. The only way those prints can be removed is from a pick ⚒️ axe

Nah these specific tracks have been known about for over 20 years, you can only see them when there’s a severe drought. I have no idea why the news keeps saying this is a brand new discovery

Over the past 500 million years, millions of extinct animals once occupied the space that is now your kitchen. And millions more will occupy that space in the future. The atoms in your body were likely at some point part of extinct plants and animals as well.
