I think it just shows the importance of why you cannot have a personal close friend also serve as your doctor. It is a huge conflict of interest and it is likely that if Murray were solely Michael's doctor, he would have been in a better frame of mind to know what to do in this situation. Instead, his emotions got the better of him and overruled his professional abilities since Michael was also his friend

If they take it into their own hands to decide then that’s negligence on their part and I would convict them if it led to a death.
