I thought lately she's been a bit liberal biased, but looking back she's been great. How lucky we are in a country to have the ABC, where other countries news seems like a circus.

Shed a tear when I first heard the news...watched the farewell and shed some more - selfishly; in sadness that a treasured mentor has gone from my life. A strong and fearless reporter, that will be dearly missed. Presenting events from a "fact checked" position is not always a popular position. It's a job that must be thankless many days of the week. Never one to embellish in conspiracy, Leigh always walked close to the fire, and asked questions many wouldn't be qualified to carry out. That's what made her an imperative Monday to Thursday. Younger than Cassidy, but no less as precious - I wish her the best and absolute fulfillment in what comes next. I'll be watching to see where she bobs up again. No doubt in a show made especially for her ability. She may never know how many lives she effected - in a show she undeniably perfected. Can't Thank You Enough Leigh!

I now despise my once loved ABC . But Leigh took to those politicians and was awesome, that is what the media are supposed to do. They hold our politicians to account. I'm sick to death of this two party system, it's more like a cold war than any real bipartisan support to bring in the best ideas and lead by example, but what we get is petty bickering and a situation like America now which is on the brink of another civil war. What happened to a moderate or centrist?. They enrich themselves and big business is all they really care about. I vote Labor but I have no illusions about these fools.

LNP bias in her last 2 years of interviews was pretty evident. Pulled alot of punches with Scomo, Angus Taylor and Dutton...

She did her job well. A decade of bravely holding the opposition to account.

Very sad to see she left the ABC . I was always waiting to see her interview contact with politicians. She used to hammer 🔨politicians to get answer of her questions.
