My goodness, he was such a brave little boy to lie there so still while the doctor was poking around his stomach. I never could have laid thru that when I was his age. He and mom and dad should get an all expenses paid trip to Disney World for laying thru all that!

During palpation of viscera, give the patient deep breathing command and palpate deeper at the end of expiration

Sir I have heard in abdominal examination auscultation should be done first before palpation to avoid artificial bowel sounds

Sir it's a great video for learning. I just have a small doubt, don't we make the patient flex their lower limb before palpating the abdomen, to relax the abdominal muscles?

I think it would be easier to examine the child if you have him take his shirt off completely instead of just pulling it up. Also make sure to ask the child to hold his breath during one of the procedures.
