I'm not Turkish, I know nothing abut the Uyghur culture either. But i LOVE this music and I am hands down to this musician's master of his instrument. I could listen to this over and over.

Even I didn't know any word from Uygur, I understood 95%!!! Because I know Uzbek language. All other uzbeks also understand I hope. These languages are the same, and Uzbeks and Urgur are more close to each other than any other Turkic nations. We were the same nations but russians and chineese divided us to "swallow" easily... Inshallah we will be united one day with all other Turkic brothers under the name GREAT TURAN!!!

Abdiryim Heyit, the famous Uyghur "Dutar King" , singer and composer, has been detained by Chinese authorities for his song "fathers" although all of his songs, including "fathers" (atilar) were approved by Chinese authorities. Whereabouts of him is unknown and the Chinese authorities persecute people who ask for him. He is one of the many innocent Uyghur detained, imprisoned or forcibly disappeared without any trial.
