The biggest problem is getting Donald Glover back. Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong, Allison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jim Rash all have publicly stated their interest in making the movie happen and some of them went as far as to say they would prioritize a Community movie over any other project. But Donald Glover is working on his series Atlanta and also has his contract with his records company which states he needs to produce a certain number of songs and albums and all of this leaves him with very little free time and pretty much unavailable for any other long term projects for the foreseeable future. The only window of opportunity will appear when Atlanta's filming eventually ends but whenever that happens, other members of the main cast might be unavailable as well.

@@psyclops973 I think the bigger problem would be bringing back Chevy Chase to make a cameo or flashback (back from a fake death) to the movie 😵 If the movie happends itbwould be awesome to see the Greendale 7 at least for a scene, but the good news is that Glover is on 😎 but the bad news is that Harmon haven't started the script (Rick and Morty absorbing the time). All aboard with exception of the time and well, Chevy probably, hope he receives the invitation since they don't hold gruges ✌️

@@SokkaTV was the intent to be dehumanize black people? The joke was that Chang is so tone deaf to racism, he didn't even realize he was doing black face. He was cosplaying as a dark elf and saw nothing wrong with that. Chang's character is even portrayed as not seeing race when he sees that Shirley isn't dressed up as Ms Piggy despite everyone else in the group only seeing her that way. To cancel an entire hilarious episode due to a one off joke is an awful shame.

Chevy and Dan had multiple squabbles, but it seems like they were both willing to put aside their egos for the sake of the show, given that both Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase are fairly difficult to get along with backstage. It's also kind of unfair to say that Dan "left," since he was fired as showrunner by the studio, and Chevy's departure actually nothing to do with Dan Harmon, he hated how the season 4 showrunners were changing his character and undoing all of the character development he had gone through in the past three seasons. And in Chase's defense, the writers and producers of season 4 really did drop the ball with pretty much every character.
