I played soccer with Abedi when he was at Green Hill. He was a trailblazer, but not the best player ever in Ghana. Ghana has had equally great players who never had the opportunity to showcase their skills in Europe. I saw Mohammed Polo. Abedi knows how good Polo was. There were many others we did not get to witness..

True that the sons didn’t…and unfortunately couldn’t. The sons, except for Rahim, are born in France, and therefore had an easier path…perhaps even softer than their dad, and most likely even less psychologically motivated due to many more options being available to them…and not having to struggle as much as dad. Plus, genetics between father and sons are not exact or same. I think it’s unrealistic to expect offsprings to be copies of their parents….and also not factor conditions and times also being different. Plus, the competition is also stiffer and better when the sons are playing.
