They have been romping around open countryside, eating an organic diet of vegetable protein for up to seven months, free from all GM nasties. These turkeys are dry plucked by hand and hung for two weeks.

How do you feed the turkeys evenly. I have tried self-service theaters and I’ve tried spreading the feed out neither one seem to work.

Are these heritage turkeys or are they the broad breasted bronze turkey that need to be artificially bred? Nice farm how many birds and acres do you have for them.

Hello, I would recommend heading to the Kelly Bronze website, which can be found here www.kellyturkeys.co.uk/ for more information about them but I do know it is a unique breed developed from bronze turkeys and they are really well looked after on the farm. I hope this helps! *Ella-May

It’s crazy that the Spanish explorers gave turkeys their name and called them gallopavo, which literally means chicken-peacock in that language. Can you thank them for that?
