Recorded in 1997 by the late Mike Price. This is a historic view of both power stations. Mike was there on the day with the helicopter, I was there the other day!!. More rail clips next Thanks to Rowland for access to the tape

My dad worked at the coal plant for 45 years, we have one of the bricks 🧱 from the old chimneys that were demolished after this footage was taken

So where will the power come from after closure ?
@TheMichaelWilcock2016Railways5 жыл бұрын
Not from Wales! I'm not sure, I'll try to get a more specific answer soon............Mike

Pretty sure it'll be imported. That way they can claim a reduction in our carbon footprint but totally ignore that of where its comes from. Crazy policies concocted by idiots and implemented by fools. Mad, mad World.

It will come from millions of unsightly white wind turbines all over the countryside, because Britain must single handedly save the world by becoming carbon-neutral. While allowing the population to explode towards armageddon !
