I got to pick the "movie" for movie night at a local bar in Louisville one week, and I suggested an AbFab marathon, which the bartender and I started early, when the bar had its afternoon crowd of blue collar workers, who had never seen the show before, and probably weren't all that into British comedy. They were absolutely riveted by the show, couldn't take their eyes off of it. Buncha construction workers ROARING with laughter and Eddy and Pats.

AbFab is one of the greatest shows ever made

It's nice to see Julia smile and laugh, she never did on the show.

I'll never forget the first time I watched this show in Canada. The innocent "perfect" family sitcoms from America had lost all its flavor by the 90s. Even shows like Seinfeld and Friends I found to be unrelatable. Along came Absolutely Fabulous and blew our fuckin minds. We laughed non stop, episode after episode. There was nothing like it...anywhere. Not only were these ladies hilarious but they kickstarted the 60s hippie look in the 90s. I'll always be a fan of Absolutely Fabulous and the cast.

How on EARTH can Saffy keep a straight face? And Bubble makes me laugh just looking at her.

God I miss them. Remember the wine cellar tasting scene? I swear they were actually a bit pissed - their laughs were so natural. Beyond excited for the film x

I just love out takes and seeing how much fun they have Julia said in an interview the Bombay mix was one of the hardest scenes when keeping a straight face.

Such a fantastic show, screamingly funny, exceptionally well written (Thanks Dawn and Jen, mostly). I didn't really know about this until the mid aughts, but now i own every cd of it I can find.
