ফরিদপুরে গোয়ালচামট ও জনতা ব্যাংকের মোড়ে জমে উঠেছে শ্রম বিক্রির হাট। প্রায় দশ বছর ধরে চলছে এ হাট । প্রতিদিন এ হাটে ভীড় জমান বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে কাজের সন্ধানে আসা অভাবী মানুষ। আবার আরেক শ্রেণীর মানুষ আসে তাদের কিনতে। শ্রমিকরা জানান, এলাকায় কাজকর্ম নেই, অনাহারে-অর্ধাহারে দিন কাটাতে হয় পরিবার-পরিজন নিয়ে। তাই গ্রাম, পরিবার-পরিজন ছেড়ে অন্য জায়গায় কাজে যেতে হয় তাদের । খায়রুজ্জামান সোহাগের তথ্য ও ছবিতে ডেস্ক রিপোর্ট ।
