Yesterday I attended his Live show at NCPA, Nariman Point, Mumbai. He is one of the legend singer and also down to earth personality. After finish the concert, he allowed to click pictures with everyone and also speak with everyone. Hats off to Deshpande sir 🙏

Rahulji, l am from Kerala and do not understand Hindi. But that does not prevent me from appreciating this fabulous song of Rafi Saab. I love this song because of the contextual inflections in the great singers's voices: Rafi saab has slurred "नशे के घूंट पी तो लूँ!" and made a pleading cry in "हाँ दिल अभी भरा नहीं!". Asha ji has put so many touches (playful, naughtily provocative, and chiding) in a feminine way, that it calls for a female singer to do full justice to it. It would sound very odd in a male voice! 😃
