"Religion/cult/tribal" system originated in middle east. All the so called monotheistic "religions" (club) has caused more destruction and violence to humanity then any other indigenous belief system in this universe. Two of them have used crusades, jihad to steal/grab lands ( akin to land mafia) and destroyed cultures, societies, economies , traditions and ancient treasures (of knowledge) by enforcing and "spreading"(usually viruses spread) their cult/monotheistic belief system. Time for every country to go back to their roots and revive their own culture, heritage and social fabric to let diversity and peace prevail in this universe.

Disagree with AIM about 2nd/3rd/n generations of NRIs forgetting their culture. You just spend time in UK, and see the Ugandan/Kenyan Indians, who identify so strongly with India, or the many other types of Indians who consider India Matrabhumi. There is a strong link with India, even if many can't speak the languages anymore.

Religious conflicts never existed in the Bronze Age or the early Iron age cause the conflicts back then weren’t about religions. Iron Age conflicts especially the ones which happened in the Middle East were about Empires. Ex: Conflicts between the Hittites and the Egyptians. Conflicts between the Old Assyrian Empire and the Elamite Empire, etc. Even the Battle of the 10 Kings or the Dasaranja Yuddh which happened in the Northwestern Part of the Indian Subcontinent wasn't about religion.

Abhijit ji, you mentioned pre-vedic religions as Stone Age religions. First Jain teerthankar Rishabhdev is pre-Vedic and pre Indus civilization. He is mentioned in Veddas. His artifacts like his symbol of bull is found on seals in Indus Valley civilization. He introduced farming techniques, 6 professions (asi- army, masi - reading/writing, krishi - agriculture, vidya - techniques, vanijya - business, and shilp -arts/crafts) for livelihood. His elder daughter Brahmi created Brahmi script and younger daughter started music and mathematics. This country’s name Bharat started on his eldest son Bharat chakravarti. He also introduced spirituality like tapa, meditation, yoga etc. so pre-Vedic religion is not Stone Age, it is probably mother of all religions and civilizations.

Lol. Here comes the person who wants to take credit of everything by simple assumptions. If this is true then you are true sanatana dharma why call yourself Jains ? also, Vedas clearly mention offerings of animals to Gods & then how come you believe in pure non violence ? In fact Jainism is an uncomprehending off shoot of Sanatana dharma bcoz Original dharma even before Vedas were documented in the Script, they were following strict principles of Satya being supreme but if it leads to Violance then do not follow satya for Ahimsa but however if Hinsa is required for Dharma then Dharma precedes & even Himsa for Dharma becomes inevitable. This is called Dharma Shookshma from Pre videic period which was practiced by everyone till Jainism became on off shoot from a misunderstanding. Every one respect Jainism but its some Jains who go woke & make simpleton claims without having complete understanding of history. Just becoz Vedas were not documented does not mean they did not exist. Very similar to Calculation existing even before Zero was invented. Please read some amazing research on this by scholars. Read beyond mental assumptions.,.

AIM is totally unread & unaware of Vedic history of India & Sanatana dharma because he clearly said he did not read about them. He may not have an understanding of astronomical clear accounts from 26000 BCE which are mentioned in Vedas which are impossible till we recently got the astronomy simulation softwares emerged. His assumptions about Iron age & Bronze age religions is totally out of place & incorrect :-) Learning is not expect everthing to be known by everyone. All the above may have originated in Americas (South or North) but India is now in the top 3 producers for all of the above and has managed to grow its own varieties, Mathania chilli being one of them which is now grown in Rajasthan... Here are some random facts and questions about the "horrible" Israeli Jew vs. the "innocent" Muslim/Arab and the Hindu Kashmiri dilemma: Israel has in fact FORCEFULLY evicted JEWISH settlers from Gaza, not just a few people but entire thriving communities ! Arabs live in Israel and are not persecuted. There are Arab political parties in Israel ! It was an Arab judge that sent an Israeli president to jail ! There are Arabs in the IDF, and not just a few, see the Golani Regiment ! Arab Israelis enjoy a higher standard of living (And one with the same rights as Israelis) in Israel than they would in most Arab countries. Israel supplies Gaza with a substantial amount of water and electricity but do critics ever mention this ? The Palestinian population has grown since the founding of Israel, so much for claims of genocide. Jews are indigenous to the area comprising Israel, Jewish kingdoms use to exist ! Jews were forcefully expelled from their own lands repeatedly by foreign invaders . Later , in the 20th century, the Jews were given mostly swamps and deserts but nevertheless transformed these areas into world class cities, without the benefit of oil revenue ! Palestinians have repeatedly rejected offers of a two state solution , they not only want all the land but they want all the Jews gone. Far more Muslims have died at the hands of other Muslims than by any other peoples and continue to do so. Did Muslims engage in mass worldwide protests when Saudi Arabia launched a cruel and unjust war against Yemen ? Do the liberals and gays protest against the TRUE CHINESE GENOCIDE of Uyghur Muslims with the same fervor and intensity that they protest against Israel? Do all the Muslim dominated countries protest against the former with the same energy that they put into protesting against the later ? (Hint, who do you think buys much of the Middle Eastern oil? ) Btw, how can Gaza be an open air prison when one side of the border is with Egypt and controlled by Egyptians ? On the other hand , hardly any non-Muslim minorities thrive in Muslim dominated countries . Most Muslim dominated countries are Not democracies. Slavery existed in Saudi Arabia in the later half of the 20th century , legally ! Where did many of the Syrian refugees go during the recent civil war ? Democratic and secular Europe. Over 2 million accepted by Germany alone ! Who discovered the oil in the Middle-East, the only reason this part of the world has any relevance and (some) prosperity? The Americans and the Brits ! And who buys most of the oil that subsidizes many Muslim economies ? (Non-Muslim countries) . Muslims have almost the entire Middle-East to themselves , why can't the Jews have a small sliver of land ( 0.5% of total Middle-East) ? Now ask yourself about the plight of Hindus from Kashmir, the Kashmiri Pandits, at the hands of Muslims . Ask yourself what has happened to Hindus in Pakistan, here's a hint, their numbers have dwindled. Ask yourself what has happened to the Muslim population in India, here's a hint, it has exploded, UPWARDS ! And if Palestinians are allowed to make the claim that they are the true indigenous people of the area comprising Israel then why cannot Hindus make the same claim regarding ALL the territory comprising Kashmir AND EVEN INDIA ITSELF ? Would Pakistan & Muslims in general accept it if India applies the same logic to Kashmir that Palestinians and other Arabs/Muslims apply to Israel ? FYI: Do you know that Muslims in India enjoy a higher standard of living and more rights (Protections for homosexuals) vs. Muslims in Pakistan, a perennial economic basket-case with numerous Muslim vs. Muslim bombings throughout the country.
