The biggest acheivement of the chandrayan 3 programme was sucessful testing of software systems and automated landing system software with artificial intelligence which will lead to multi billion dollar market in space research programmes.

Without nasa the US wouldn't have been this strong militarily, space research gave them so much modern innovation edge. Similarly ISRO will be our key to leapfrog forward in many advanced sectors.

Abhijit is spot on. Peace is not possible so long as the Army controls Pakistan. PM Modi has clearly understood and internalised this truth. This has nothing to do with the ordinary people of Pakistan. They don't matter to us. India has to be ready always. Eternal vigilance and toughness are vital.

Education is Indian languages is the way to go. Because Indian languages have gone into a death spiral after islamic & British colonization they stopped growing their vocabulary as times & technologies changed. But that is an easy problem to fix using root words in local languages and Sanskrit with State support. But the problem is Indian govts are colonial in nature and that is why they have not done it. Several studies around the world have shown that educating people in their own languages is bets for creativity, innovation & learning outcomes. Indian scripts are much superior to European scripts.

Spot on. I have travelled to 80 countries of the world during my career. Almost all countries create new words to keep their languages evolving. I can give so many examples, Hebrew, French, German, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean etc. They create new words for technical terms and other words for new concepts like "crowd sourcing" etc. We are the only ones who use English words even when speaking in an Indian language. We have completely butchered our languages.

The day is not far when Indian space missions will be "blended" commercial and research projects - deliver satellites and then going to the moon or further for advanced research/exploration. A good equation will lead to the entire cost of the project cost being borne by the customer countries who want their satellites commissioned by ISRO - this is a self financing model that can sustain itself indefinitely))
