Deffo one of the best new characters in 2 😎 I loved them all, yes even Micah in a way, plays a great villain, Dutch is understandable in some ways and much less of a kind of one note villain in the first, but the second even elevates him in the first because you see how he got to be a broken crazy guy who lives with natives, the ladies of the camp are all great to me as well I really loved their interactions with Arthur and John, Abigail breaking John out of jail was one of my favourite cutscenes, Jack gets more character and you can see even more how he became the man he is in the first game because of how the gang is shown to love him, Kieran was such a sad situation but showed, like with Sadie, that the gang is somewhat different at first and a lot of the game from most gangs in the RDR universe, Sadie stood out as well as (im bad with names, the other ladie who was a robber? Dressed as a nun in one heist) as strong women but without it being strongarmed in, the other more minor characters fleshed out that the gang is a proper little community with people that don’t just have roles as robbers/gunmen and women. Best games ever in my opinion with 2 just slightly more enjoyable

@kirikakirikakirika3 жыл бұрын
@@thotnoodle1087 We saw it in the game. Jack hates John and his life in general until John finally steps up by the events of the RDR. Pre-teens aren't just naturally miserable, there's a reason they act out. It's entirely John's fault that he took nearly 12 years to be an actual husband and father. In the meantime, Jack hated moving around and watching his parents bicker. At this point in the game, he's miserable and trying to acclimatize to his new life.
@thotnoodle10873 жыл бұрын
@@kirikakirikakirika John doesn’t ‘step up’ in rdr1 he becomes a better father and husband way earlier in RDR2, same with Abigail (obviously they improve as they get older, I mean you are meant to become wiser as you get older, especially as parents). The one thing you’re right about is, yEah Jack did struggle but only because they were moving from place to place for a lot of his early life, that includes the first four years with the gang too. He gets annoyed when Dutch tells him they’ve moved camp when he’s brought back. And obviously there’s the bickering between his parents who are struggling to settle after the 6th chapter and in the beginning of the epilogue: you see him turn around and drown them out with his reading at Geddes’ farm. Also funny you should say he hates John for a reason like that, he treats Abigail the same way when he’s frustrated, like pushing past her and responding to her rudely in the epilogue, yet you’re not claiming he hates his mother cause he gets frustrated with her. Anyways, he doesn’t hate either of his parents, he knows they’re not perfect and calls them out on their flaws occasionally but he knows his parents are trying and they’re not bad parents by any means. It’s a difficult situation, especially before the ranch, but he’s not cold or distant because he hates John (Or Abigail), I think his lifestyle being cooped up with his parents does make him tired, not to mention having a complete lack of a social life. Me saying he’s a pRe-tEen was not me being entirely serious because I know he has reasons sometimes. Damn way to do both John and Jack dirty like that lmao
@kirikakirikakirika3 жыл бұрын
@@thotnoodle1087 Jack snaps at Abigail sometimes, but he also confides in her and talks to her. She's his safety and his confidante. She was always a good mother, always active in his life, never rejected him (unlike John), and she did everything in her power to make sure he led an honest life. When he's forced to spend time with John, he hates it and says anything he can to weasel out of it. As is made clear at the beginning of the epilogue, their constant moving around was John's fault because he couldn't stop getting into fights or falling back into outlaw habits. That's literally the reason they're moving at the start of the chapter. I don't get why you're so offended by what I said when Jack himself tries to avoid his father like the plague. By this point in the story, he's still at odds with John, and he blames him for a lot of the struggles they've faced over the past eight years. Abigail _says_ this during a conversation when they're working as farmhands. He's an unhappy kid who's trying to adjust to a new life that he's probably worried will fall apart. It's only near the _end_ of the epilogue that John finally turns around and Jack starts to warm up to him. I didn't do anyone "dirty". I simply understand how Jack feels and why he's so upset at this particular point in the game.

This is so sad. He used to read the Bible when he was younger. If his dad wasn't killed, he might have been a man of God

If you focus on Rufus, his description is literally just: ' Rufus is a good boy. '

I wish Charles and Sadie would have stayed on the ranch along with a few more members of the gang.

The irony of Jack being told not to become a gunslinger, and being told how silly and unrealistic it was, just to become the very last true gunslinger/outlaw. I really hope red dead 3 is about jack. He is the final piece to the puzzle, and when he dies, the cycle of violence will come to an end. Red dead 3 being about the gang in there beginning wouldn’t be a good game because nothing bad happened and it there would be no conflict which defeats the purpose of red dead as a whole. But it would make for a great DLC

In 4:17 oh Rufus has the power to heal himself? Nice! Because when he lied down and jack was with Rufus and stopped Rufus got up! TIP: look at the details of the dog because Rufus is a good boy.

How do you get these? Before the ending most of the characters are just chilling at their mission start locations.
