It's pretty ironic, though it makes complete sense, that for most of the reformed villains who subsequently died, their self-sacrifice was the thing that earned them reformed status.

Absolutely wild how many villains have been in the MCU so far, I never realised just how many secondary villains there were! Great to see them all together, surprised how many in general are still alive.

So there was really no point in building The Raft since they are all dead 😂

Baron Von Strucker appears alongside Dr List in the Winter Soldier post credits scene, so he should be placed there too. Adding to that, William Ginter Riva could be considered on probation in Iron Man seeing as that short appearance turned out to be his villain origin story. Aside from that I couldn't spot any big things, so this list is quite comprehensive!

I'm extremely interested to see where we see Eleanor Bishop next. She's such a fascinating and complex character. Vera Farmiga has been one of my top favorite actors ever since I finished Bates Motel. I hope she plays a major role in Young Avengers or a possible Hawkeye season 2.

So something interesting is that we also kind of know Kang is (probably) coming back, since despite all these variants of Kang, none of them are really named Kang. There's so far only one real Kang the Conqueror. Now, that could easily change and they can just say that Immortus, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, etc. all just have the nickname of Kang, but it is interesting that, potentially, the title of Avengers: Kang Dynasty already tells us Kang the Conqueror survived. And he evens says in Quantumania, "the dynasty of Kang".

Even though we've now seen another character survive flying into a sun, I tend to agree with you that Ikaris's trip was 1-way. That said, because of what the Eternals are, I do think we could see an Ikaris 2.0 in the future. Yeah, I pretty much agree with you on the Secondary Villains not being a big loss. The only exceptions are the Secondary Villains like Kaecilius, N'Jobu, etc. that were portrayed by great big name actors that it would have been nice to see more from in bigger roles.

I am fairly new to your content but I have enjoyed every single minute of it! I am currently rewatching all of the MCU/Multiversal movies in chronological order to understand dehiscence crazy world we all love, and all of your videos have been so much help bc it adds that little but of detail I may miss. By the end of far from home, and the beginning of no way home, it's clear that some people, while not everyone belive in mysterio, and I think that a character know for his illusions makes a really solid candidate to be brought back in the future, especially with such an opportunity for a sinister six, but I 100% agree with your position on his state so far! BTW, it would be so fun If he took a position like JJJ in the future , spider man would have to give up just due to the huge amount of slander he would be facing daily LMAO

Im suprised you included so many nothing villains from SheHulk. But didn't include X5 or Dox from Loki, they were actual villains. Dox got a horrendous death and X5 is still alive somewhere! Also id argue Classic loki wasn't a villain in context of the show, if that was the case why not add president, kid, alligator loki? 😅

Love these videos. Did we technically see a body with Raza in the first Iron Man? He got his ears zapped by Stane and his men all got shot, but we didn't really see him die for sure. I think that'd be a really fun person to see pop up in a Ten Rings show or something.

Slattery was on probation in the short film All Hail the King prior to him appearing again in Shang-Chi, becoming the second character from an Iron Man film to appear again for the first time in a long time after William Ginter Riva from 2008's Iron Man appeared in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

13:20 I’d argue we don’t actually know what happened to The Collector in Infinity War. Thanos was shown interrogating him for the Reality Stone, but that whole situation wasn’t real and The Collector vanished with the rest of Thanos’ illusion (“Reality can be whatever I want”). Knowhere was seriously hurt in that scene, but Collector is nowhere to be seen or heard from again in either Guardians 3 or the Holiday Special. You think he’d have an issue with the Guardians coming in and taking over his home pretty much, so he could easily be out of the picture.

I'd argue that Icarus never reformed. The only thing he didn't do was kill Cersei when he had the chance and he only had a moment of hesitation before the Uni-mind took control and forced him to contribute to Cersei's last actions. After that he flew into the sun due to his failure to save Tiamat. I don't think he ever reformed, just hesitated, lost, and unalived himself when he failed what he thought his purpose was.

Do you think its possible that in No Way Home there could have been another yet unmentioned mistake by Strange. Instead of sending Vulture to Morbius' universe, he could have just accidentally created a variant of Vulture in Morbius' universe? However, I also like the idea of Vulture actually being sent there and Miguel returning him.

For me, Abomination is clearly reformed. He was only speaking at that conference because he thought he was invited to give an inspirational speech. The breaking out thing seemed downplayed by the end, but I guess I dont have much to counter it. He just seemed so chill once he was out, he seems pretty good, not wanting to destroy anymore. Alternately, I think Val is a villain just for how she treated good Ross (Martin Freeman) in Wakanda Forever. Besides, I think it's safe to say, she has no love for heroes, and is manipulating and collecting in preparation for something we've yet to see. What if Val is the one Shannon called? That may make sense, to have as many moles in the government as she can use.

I would love to see you do a state of heroes/villainy for all of the Marvel TV characters. Who knows when one of them could pop up?

Val should definitely count as a villain, she should know who Kingpin is, he is a known crime boss at this point and she still chose to do business with him

Yelena helped take out Kingpin and iirc was a the entire reason that the Hawkeye duo had the knowledge to take the villains down. However she did flip flop a lot in the show that but I think redeemed but *just* barely.

Still watching the video but wanted to drop a quick comment... You included Dr. List in the end credit scene of CA:TWS and then as a second appearance in A:AoU. However Von Strucker was also in that same end credit scene with Dr. List meaning his first appearance was also in CA:TWS and he should've been included as a second appearance in A:AoU. Just a quick observation. Can't fault you though as only 9 mins in I can't imagine how difficult it was to put this all together! Well done so far...now back to the video for me 😁

I’m watching this a second time & I can’t help but think how crazy this list would be if we included all the other villains from the marvel shows that are not yet debunked as canon to the MCU like A.O.S, the Netflix shows and Runaways, Inhumans etc. I hate to think that Bullseye, Purple Man, Cottenmouth, Grant Ward, Absorbing Man and all those dope villains we got along the way are not considered.

for Age of Ultron, they knew Ultron was in a body because of the red eyes, in Spiderman Homecoming, Peter found an Ultron head in the deep storage vault with red eyes

You missed a couple of villains from the what if series: Hank Pym's Yellow Jacket, Loki from the same episode as Hank Pym's yellow jacket, Red Skull and Zola from Captain Carter's Universe as well as that tentacled monster that killed Red Skull.

I would argue that the Collector and Ross aren't really villains. collector hasn't done anything evil besides collecting stuff and after the Hulk movie, Ross is more of a grey area anti hero rather than a villain.

To me the Celestials are more like a force of nature, but even excluding them from that to me they aren't doing what they do out of malevolence. Similar to humans and it's relationship to nature.

at 35 57 of this video, if you look at the Green Goblin, in an episode of Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, they go to a costume dance party and you can see Wanda and Vision dancing together, and in that episode, you see Norman Osborn coming home in a helicopter from an Insane asylum. and he was in there because he thought he was a monster. the helicopter crashes and Norman is thrown to the ground and knocked unconscious . his skin starts changing , his skin turns green and scaly , his chin gets pointy his ears get pointy and his nose gets pointy, what does that sound like to you? i think he is a Skrull, and i think he has forgotten that he is one, so when he transforms, he must have thought he was going crazy and thought he was some kind of .. goblin!. in the 1967 Fantastic Four cartoon, they battled the Skrulls and Reed hypnotized one to forget he was a Skrull and left him in the form of a cow on an island. mabye Norman was that cow.

If you ever have time to make one I would really like to see a multiversal state of villainy over the MCU adjacent villains like X-Men and the adjacent Spider-Man movies that would be cool Also, I would really want to at least see see an Iron Monger variant either played by Jeff Bridges in life action again or in what if since he is the first media released MCU villain.

JJJ shouldn’t be a villain, I mean I guess he is in the MCU but in that universe he’s a caricature of himself. They only showed his mean side in NWH and failed to show the kinder side of JJJ like in the Raimi trilogy. However if he’s a ‘vilain’ in the MCU, he NEEDS to create Scorpion in Spider-Man 4. That’s such a cool story line which really could use JJJ in a more unique way compared to the Raimi movies.

for Dr Strange, the middle guy who stole the page, i think you got his name wrong? he is still alive as one of the mindless ones of Dormamu

I would be hesitant to call most of the No Way Home villains redeemed. Being cured does not mean that you are now good. This may be in part because I disagree a lot with some of the characterizations of the characters and how we are led to believe they are the exact same ones from the movies, but the only one I can truly say is redeemed is Doc Ock because he does actually return to fight off the villains with the Spider-Men, and theoretically, the arms have been neutralized to where Otto will always be in control. Norman Osborn is still Norman Osborn, he's not really a good person despite how much they played up the duality angle between him and the Green Goblin personas, so at best I'm putting him on Probation. Electro is another person that I feel is going to be on probation because Max's self-confidence (even with his glow-up) could still lead him into perhaps trying to regain his powers. I think that in the moment, because he is defeated, he's not fighting back because he knows there's nothing he can do. He doesn't hate Peter Parker, and maybe he'll even try to regain his powers in the hopes to do good, but that could then lead him down a path of villainy once again. Lizard is one I'm very on the fence about being reformed because if this is the same Dr. Connors from The Amazing Spider-Man, he really is reluctant to ever become Lizard again, the Lizard persona does have a bit more control than Connors, but he may also be addicted to whatever turned him back into the Lizard, so you know, when he returns, he needs to be under supervisions in a facility for his own safety, which is basically indefinite probation. Sandman is one where I could actually see him being redeemed, in fact, if this were a more mutated version of Sandman from Spider-Man 3 who just stayed as sand, he actually sounds like he may have gone the route of heroism in his universe, however, his own stupidity and ease of manipulation got him to join Electro in the movie. Curing him also just puts him back in a world were he is a wanted man because he is a known criminal, except now he can finally be caught. It's possible that he will go willingly, but we just don't know, and we likely won't know. I suppose it depends on if his daughter is still terminally ill, if she died, or if she is cured and he feels like he can fulfill his sentences with peace of mind. Tobey and Andrew may feel better that they were able to cure their enemies than leading them to oblivion, but that doesn't mean they'll be receptive to such treatments once they return home. So Otto is truly Redeemed, the other four are on Probation unless we actually follow up on their stories and we can positively confirm what happened once they returned home.

i wanted the Supreme Intelligencor to be a big head in a jar, not an A.i. like Carol said it was, and i wanted it/him to be the big bad of the Marvels or rather Captain Marvel 2 , i wasn't expecting them to add Photon and Ms Marvel back when i was imagining the second movie. i wanted her to face it/him and for him/it to have considerable mental powers that would have made it hard to get near him.

Ultron has the potential to return so I never really considered him dead expecially with his memories ending up in white vision. Also his final quotes towards the end of age of Ultron. Edit: I also am under the belief (because I love spoilers) that Dr.Doom was supposed to show up in wakanda forever because if I'm not mistaken, the infiltration scene with the (I think) Americans never went anywhere, and Namors ambitions never really made sense because there was supposed to be someone behind closed doors pulling the strings for the conflict. It was speculated he was cut because of either budget or the fact that the leaks came out, I'm not entirely sure. But i find it really weird that in MOM there was an empty seat for what was presumed to be t'challa, and they took the time to introduce reed too. I'm just really hyped to see Doom enter the scene tho and I pray they do justice to his character too! -on a side note. Lmso

Noticed there’s a correlation between hiring British actors and them being portrayed as evil then dying… Loki (multiple), Ronan, Malekith, Ulysses Klaue, Aldrich Killian, Maya Hansen, Arnim Zola and most recently… well I’ll not say who so as not to spoil that!
