Wow! Thanks so much for posting this!! My mind kinda got blown when you strolled around outside, started a beat gazing out at the landscape, slipped your phone into your pocket and walked around a bit to get some more inspiration for the next bit. Then you kept adding to the loop. I *used to* think of composers working indoors, in intimidating studios but this is really amazing, you really showed what this app means for the inspiration-to-track process

This song gave me goosebumps. Right when you put the first vox in. Love it.

If you want new features added, Ableton recommends using the Help>Feedback section. I submitted it would be nice to have a audio recording single track, such as for vocals, rather than just a sampler. I have always truly hated recording in from an iPad or iPhone into GarageBand and then converting it into a wav, uploading it to google drive and then opening it on my PC to pull into Live. LOL. Being able to sync it right into Live would be true gold, imo. Yes, I realize that it would be better to go through an AI right into Live, but you are not always sitting at your computer or have a full setup.

Downloaded it this morning and now I cannot put my phone down. Synced to the cloud and opened up in Ableton.... so cool. It's setup like Push, so pretty easy to get the hang of.

This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.

hopefully it's Abletons first steps into a full iPad DAW with Push support so I don't need to boot my laptop all the time. An M1 or M2 iPad Pro is definitely strong enough for that

LNA quick on the draw. I happened to be reinstalling LIVE yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the NOTE announcement. I installed live 11.25, installed NOTE and finished a song sketch (on my couch) w/iPad in a couple hours…now in LIVE doing the heavy lifting…dope app esp if already in the Abelton garden. Glad they have an app finally! I would love a proper step sequencer. I think the push’s step sequencing is unique enough to make a sweet translation in iOS.. I understand the purpose of immediate speed, but I would really like precision as well.

This is great for me for one reason . So many times at work I’ve been humming Melodie’s to myself trying to come up with new melody ideas then I record myself humming and often forget to look at my recording

Waiting for this since ages. I‘ve been using the Groovebox from Ampify since the day one back in 2017, which provides a similar approach and is very powerfull but it has its limitations (no cloud etc.).

I love it!!! It has a sequencer kinda… you can tap the midi clips and it expands and then you can nudge and delete midi notes
