Dudeeeeee this is so sick. I just made the switch from FL to using ableton as my primary daw, still use fl for certain projects but yeah ableton has been a godsend and I’m glad I know this too now haha

A little tip On this. You have to make sure the little headphone preview button on the top left of the keyboard is enabled. If it’s not, this truck won’t work.

WOW! Thanks for this tip. It's now like inputting notes in notation software like Sibelius. Now only if you could change the note values on the fly as well instead of just quarter notes

there are a lot of apps that allow you to copy screen, like snipping tool... or just keep rewatching :)

Yes that was the case recently. But KZfaq must have changed it, because now I can save the short to a playlist from here. I use to have to go to History and then I could save it to playlist. But now you can do it from here as well.

hey, i dont know what patcher is, but the piano roll in Ableton has improved a lot in v11, I'm not sure about FL, so cant compare it, but I keep hearing from a lot of FL users who have converted over to Ableton. In addition, when I tried FL a few years ago, the workflow was so slow and tedious compared to Ableton, that I quickly went back. However, it is what is it, lots of people love FL and I think there is no "BAD" DAW, just become really good at one and stick to it!

make sure you click inside the clip first and that the track is armed. I did it yesterday and it still works so it should work for everyone.

Done all u suggested….the red keys show but instead of printing the chords as ur video states on mine it just moves the thin turquoise timeline instead. Ho hum at least I tried it. Good luck to all those that have managed it. My PC won’t allow it somehow sadly…
