1. Set time limits and deadlines for your projects. 2. Stop listening on repeat, in your DAW you are in a seat of a producer, not a listener. 3. Have a regular sessions with mindful practice. For example: today I’m going to learn new synth techniques, or melodies, or chords. Save all midi and presets, bounce loops to audio. This way you will grow your own producer library. 4. Do not fall into trap of endless stream of YT tutorials. Can you recall in your memory all techniques from YT tutorials that you watched 3 days ago? Yes, it can be entertaining and grant sense of knowledge on topic, but you should spice it with ✨practice✨ 5. If you creatively stuck, just copy. Steal and imitate. Any artist, any song. Melodies, percussion patterns, basslines. Do you really like that track of famous artist? Find acapella, extract the kick, chop it to hell and rearrange it. Steal arrangements, chord progressions. All of it now in your samples folder.
