I had my doubts too, but after this trailer I am totally sold! Their chemistry is great and it looks like they were able to include a lot of scenes from the book!

when i first saw the trailer it took me like 8 minutes to actually finish it because i couldnt stop pausing to freak out

Casey (the author) worked closely on set with them, so I’m optimistic!! I’m SURE they’ve changed things to fit it all into a movie (it’s a beefy book!) but I won’t mind as long as the vibes are there, the overall love story, and judging from the trailer, it looks really good, so I’m excited!!

I admit I wasn’t really on board with the casting at first, because I love Taylor but I couldn’t really picture him as Alex (while Nicholas was - and still is - the perfect Henry in my opinion) but now that I’ve seen the trailer I’m a 100% sold!! This looks so fun and emotional already! Also looks pretty faithful to the book so I’m really hyped 🙌🏼

Honestly I am here for Uma Thurman! She is my favorite actress and I think she has the gravitas to play the first female President of the United States. And as far as her Texas dialect is concerned, I have known MANY people from Texas and spent time there and they do in fact sound like that. Plus fun fact, Uma played Nicholas Galitzine's Mom in the Netflix horror series 'Chambers". It was one of those great shows Netflix cancelled after only one season back in 2019.

OH my god Thank god I noticed you wearing the scarlet witch shirt, I WANT IT NOW! I stopped reading the book, I thought it be a great idea to read it one month before the movie, but I stopped so I don't set up high expectations, I am already dissapointed that they condensed June and Nora into one character but that would make the movie over 3 hours long I guess, all in all I am very excited for the movie, and after I watch I will read the book and Imagine Nicholas and Taylor being Alex and Henry in those bits that has not been included in the movie.

I'm super excited for this movie!!! Granted, Alex and Henry don't look at all like I pictured them in my head I always saw Alex looking more like Marcel Ruiz and Henry like Michael Provost. The BL industry in Thailand is huge and if you haven't watched any of those dramas I think you really might like them. Cutie Pie, Bed Friend, and Bad Buddy are just three popular titles among many many. this story caught my attention b/c of my fondness for young royals so i started the book. i'm about half-way into the book right now and so far, it's lukewarm for me. i'll finish it soon so maybe my early thoughts will change. i watched the trailer and it definitely gives the vibes of what i'm reading right now. i'm 50/50 on what i saw but i'm still going to watch the film when it releases. i just feel like it's a bit overhyped for me.
