Love these vlogs! Does being an entertainer on board rather than a 'traditional crew member' (housekeeping, restaurant etc) make it a more enjoyable job? People remark on the long hours and no days off for most crew staff as a huge con but you seem to pack so much into your days that it looks like you have a good balance (if this makes any sense!)

We, my husband and I leave for the southern Caribbean next week on Celebrity. I love Barbados. The water is so pretty. Snorkeling is so nice there. Glad you are enjoying the last few weeks of your contract. Can't wait to hear where you next contract is so maybe I can book a cruise on that ship. I have 5 cruises booked currently with more coming when I get onboard to get the extra onboard credit.

Shutter Island was a 2010 movie. It's a pretty complex plot, but the main investigator "Teddy", has flashbacks to his WWII liberation of Dachau. My grandfather was a part of the American liberating force of Dachau. It was a pretty horrifying place, the Germans had a area where they would watch prisoners get torn apart by German Shepards.

Reccos for you next time you're in San Juan: Chocobar Cortes (everything on the menu has chocolate), Pira Rum (Classic Piraguas but with rum!), Cuatro Sombras (love this place for coffee), Go get Piña Coladas at Caribe Hilton (where they were originated) Barrachina in Old San Juan also claims to be the first but I'm biased towards Caribe Hilton
