In this video, Dr. Rudderman talks about breast asymmetry.
What is Breast Asymmetry?
Breast asymmetry can be anything from the size, nipple position, and shape of the breast. About 80% of women have breast asymmetry in the United States. Genetics and lifestyle are common causes of asymmetry. When it is minimal it may not be an issue, but when it is visible and problematic in clothing and comfort it affects how you feel and can impact your emotional wellbeing.
Breast Asymmetry Correction
Breast asymmetry is often dismissed by practitioners and a lot of women who come into our practice for a consultation don’t know there are reliable and practical ways of addressing asymmetry. The operation and artistry are specific to each woman. During your visit, you will receive extensive education regarding your condition, your concerns, your options, your risks and benefits, and your probable predictable outcome. The goal is safe surgery, excellent appearance, normal anatomic redistribution, and an outcome that lasts for years and ages appropriately.
