Since 1977, Brisbane Youth Service has worked to create new futures for vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness aged 12-25 years and their children.
BYS provides free, confidential services including:
 crisis and transitional housing,
 emergency relief,
 physical and mental health services,
 alcohol and drug interventions,
 domestic and family violence support and specialist programs for young women and young families.
Brisbane Youth Service is a specialist service for young people and a respected leader in the community services industry. BYS meets young people at a crucial time of great need - but also a great opportunity for early intervention supports.
Young people, many struggling with complex issues, are being disproportionately affected by the housing crisis. Investment in early-intervention support and stable housing for young people is critical to break the cycle of long-term homelessness into adulthood. Brisbane Youth Service will continue to work tirelessly to keep young people safe, and young families together and housed.
