I was an extra in this movie!! At 1:04, I'm the one with the white visor on next to Kim Cattrall! Most of this movie was filmed at Steelwood Country Club in Loxley, Alabama. It was a BLAST!!!! Looking forward to seeing it!

The line about the money in buried mayonnaise jars cracked me up. My grandparents were immigrants and they were exactly like that. They didn't bury their money in the backyard but they sure as hell preferred stashing cash in some secret hiding place instead of the bank.

He can't. His ex wife is a "black female entrepreneur". Every single one of her businesses has been a bust. He's in financial slavery for eternity. DeNiro was actually caught on tape complaining to her about having to do all these horrible comedies to cover the financial losses for her inept business ventures.

I saw this at a screening and it is TERRIBLE and here's why: Firstly, this movie makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!!! If the premise is that Sebastian comes from a modest family, why does he have Versace underpants in the water scene and always wears an expensive watch? This Italian schtick routine Sebastian does can be found in ANY joke books from the 80's. The ONLY people that this movie would appeal to are Italians, and they've heard all these jokes if they've ever read a joke book. Did Sebastian just blatantly copy the Meet The Fockers script and add cliche Italian jokes? Lana (Ellie) and her family come off VERY pretentious and dim witted. Sebastians father Salvo comes off as uneducated and ignorant. Plus, all the acting is utterly embarrassing. This is a bomb and painful to watch!

Robert dineros acting ability woven into a cool storyline (Sebastian monasucos stand up routine) with a really good comedian who showed his acting progress in the “Greenbook”. Sebastian is quite likable and very talented, I see a jump from Stand up to acting work. I could see a sitcom about a Italian American family in the 70-80 in Long Island or North Jersey.
