I don't know about you guys, but I was more moved by the father-son relationship more than the actual lead relationship. It caught me off guard, and it was so beautiful :)

This is not the ordinary romantic movies. This movie was simply beautiful. I love how they didn't put a hot muscular guy to play this role. He was an average looking guy. Which I liked even more. I cried so much in the last scene with his dad. It was just so beautiful I can't even put it into words. I am very very glad I watched it. It just shows that every day we should stay positive and enjoy the little things because that is what truly makes us happy.

This movie is not a romance film, cause it's much more than that. It's food for the soul, like reading a great book - one that stays with you for the rest of your life. ❤

This movie is fantastic because it actually depicts a loving, healthy relationship. With so many nicholas sparks movies trying to tell people love is wanting to die for your significant other, and having screaming matches with them before kissing them in the rain, it's beautiful to see a film that shows what real love actually is.

What makes it such a great movie is how it doesn’t follow the standard sequence all movies follow where there is something that changes the life of the protagonist, then a good period, then a really bad period, then happily ever after. This whole movie from start to finish was just happy. I’ve always looked for a movie like that and just found it. The sad parts were never drawn out and everything was addressed and moved on like real life. But the beautiful moments were just that. The happy parts were extraordinarily happy to a point where I was smiling the whole time. To me that’s what made it so great.

What made everything about this film extraordinary, was how the characters are real people. Not in the literal sense of time travelling, but how a simple man had realizations with life and the persons he love are the ones that kept him waking up in the morning. We all have that one reason that keeps us getting up from bed, why and what are the things we live for. Love the film. I suddenly love smiling again to strangers. Everyday is a chance to start.

First time when I saw this movie I was 25 years old, this year I am 33 and I had to watched again since my father passed away in Jan 2021. Thank you for this movie. I wish I had one more time with my father.

A beautiful movie with a meaning. Different, not like those predictable ones.

My dad has leukemia and its gotten to the point where its pretty bad, its hard for him tp do anything and it was this movie that both of us saw on Netflix and watched. The scene where he goes back to see his dad for the last time was the most gut wrenching for the both of us. And since this movie any time we see each other it is rarely about politics or issues or school. We just sit and talk to eachother and enjoy whatever time we have left together. This movie was amazing by all accounts. Thank you for this movie.

You know, there's only a few films that could make you smile every second of it. This is one of those few. Lighthearted, warm, and deep with messages. You won't regret every single frame of this film.

My dad is always complaining about his work, he has lived a tough life, and he works extremely hard to give us all that is to give, without wanting to receive anything in return... when we watched this movie today, we just hugged for 10 minutes, crying, because we knew that there was a lot of time that was just gone and we could have maxed it out... but at the same time, we were happy because we realized that time is the most precious thing in the world and you never now when fate could take away someone from your life in an instant... Genius movie.

This movie had an amazing impact on me. This is one of those movies that can literally change your life because the message is so powerful. Time is too precious to be negative and unappreciating. Just wow.

This film is a special gems. The core message that spoke out was on how we could live life in a blissful and beautiful way. On how it can actually be so simple and intelligent to breath and embrace our days. Especially the small parts. We have choices in every small situation as our day goes by, whether we take it positively and joyfully as if everything is just a small and easy matter, or we choose to worry and stress ourself. It’s all up to us. And that you have to start your day with the right mindset, that you want to be happy and positive. It’s such a deep and, beautiful is just an understatement. No movies message has ever touched me this much. He’s relationship with his dad and his wife and everyone else is beautiful and pure especially because it’s very simple and down to earth, it’s not materialist or political or superficial, which most people do in order to make things better. But this movie teaches us that you just gotta make relationships simple and down to earth. And I gotta have a kind heart( these are all from scenes I’ve noticed from the films) this movie just teaches you so much. And I truly respect and appreciate Richard Curtis(writer and director) for making this film. I’ve seen this film so many times that I’ve lost count. I wanted to write this review and option because I feel like that’s the least I can do to show my appreciation and admiration

Totally amazed at how good this film actually was. Script was clever, acting brilliant, soundtrack awesome and directing top class. 6'4, built like a house yurt had tears in my eyes at the end. Totally absorbing film.

Just watched this movie on Netflix and wow man, I cried. I love how they made us care about both the father and the wife. I also love how there were many scenes that just made sad (in a good way).

This movie really changed me a lot. Not matter how much you want to change things it's always better off to leave them the way they are. The scene of the last walk with his father hits hard. If I had that power I would do the same.

This trailer kind of prepared me for the wrong kind of crying. *SPOILER ALERT* I thought I'd cry because he screwed up and caused the events of Mary meeting him and falling in love with him not to happen but I ended up crying for the Dad.

I'm usually not favoured by romantic movies but after watching this I've had to change my mind. I'm actually short for words this movie had a profound impact on my emotions and the characters really come through and the script is wonderful and the funny part is that 'The Notebook' never made me emotional but this did it was so beautiful (P.S whosoever came here to watch the trailer don't watch it gives away so much )

Incredible, truly inspiring, heart wrenching! I just couldn't help myself but shed a tear or two at the ending scene where. Father and son. We're racing down the slope and into the sea filled with excitement and joy! Anyone who says they didn't let a flood of tears exit bodys, are either bold faced liars or heartless creatures! I recommend deeply.

This movie is one of my favorites. I can't explain why, but it deeply touches my heart. I've seen it many times and find myself unable to turn away from it if I come across it while flicking thru the channels. Perhaps I love it so much because the lead actor reminds me so much of my son. Anyhoo, it's just a lovely movie that charms me every single time.

I watched this movie on the aiplane to France. It was the most beautiful movie I’ve ever watched in my life. The way they looked at each other in the eyes made me believe in true love. I’ve always wanted to go back in time and fix my mistakes- and thought that ability would make my life so much better. But I’ve learnt from this movie that going back in time doesn’t matter. Loving every moments of your life is what matters.

Time Travelling Doesn't change Feelings But Reality will and living in reality with enjoying little things is the best thing u can do for your life. Ending Makes me Emotional when Tim hugged his father and said "A Kiss" and when they both Travel in past, enjoying together was so wholesome. I wish I also have a father like him but again learn to live happy in any situation.

I saw this movie for the very first time today. That's so lovely. These days, the theme of time travelers has become very common in the film industry, but the film is full of amazing loveliness and the sorrow it gives. As this is a movie bout love between lovers and paternal love, it might be necessary to forget about physical and logical errors and enjoy them with emotions. The scene of Tim and his father playing table tennis and the scene on the beach at the end of the movie was really really touching.
