The older drivers will always be better at it ‘cause they learned how to do it out of necessity. The younger drivers have been trained NOT to peddle it so they never really had the chance to develop the feel needed to peddle the car.

I chuckled when Jim O. said, "I get a little nervous when I can read Parts Plus on the side of the car!" Reminded my of the day my youngest brother told me, "I could see the whole left side of your car from the starting line!" after I made a sideways trip through the eyes at Milan Dragway years ago in my 62 440 powered sport Fury! 😅

I so would like to know a more detailed description of how he handled three major corrections at way over 200 mph AND WON THE RACE??? Amazing handling. I've never seen a dragster recover & win after all those extremes of excursions. Best driver in the world IMO. This rival-race with Brittany force should have had a piece where they discussed the race - especially because they both pedaled it & almost lost it.

That run would have been crazy at 55mph, let alone, at 320mph. Crazy reflexes to keep it under control. I would have started with white shorts and ended with brown. Hopefully, you will get to stomp on the loud pedal, all the way down the track, next time.

BALLS OF STEEL! Both you and Brittany. Brittany gets it inherently too i might add, but still. Congratulations on another win. Side note.. I live in Indiana neer where Tony Stewart is from and i have to say it is really weird seeing him drag racing and at the track in general. Im just used to his dirt and NASCAR (obviously) racing. His dirt experience goes from RC cars ,3/4 Midgets, etc. Crazy to me. I get though.. love is love (Gone In 60 lol).

Great job driving that hot rod to a win light Clay. Glad you knocked out Brittany in the challenge. Living in the midwest we have mixed feelings about the rain. We need it for the crops, but we hate it on the weekends to spoil our fun racing cars or showing them off at car meets / shows. Good luck racing against Leah next weekend. QMM said "When have you ever known NHRA to send cars down the track when there was any moisture on the track" Trying to claim that there wasn't any rain. Clay, great job keeping it off the wall and away from the stripe. I was at the 1/8 mile beams and felt the rain, watching you drift a dragster.
