What causes my anxiety is the extreme wickedness that is in the world and the evils happening to children throughout the world (and I can't do much about it). Please come Lord Jesus.

I agree but disagree. I agree that when we rejoice in the Lord, we are focusing on Him. But not just for the coming day. The reason we can rejoice TODAY is because when we focus on HIM HE becomes our very present help in our time of need. So even if we are tossed into the fire, He is with and for us. So when we have joy in spite of our struggles and pain people WILL ask, How can you be joyful right now? The REASON is Jesus is at hand in my life. One glimpse of Him and the rest just becomes irrelevant 😊

Anxiety is from trauma and gets worse as you age because more things happen but I will follow this

Anxiety is not from or rooted in trauma. Anxiety like all other issues we face in this life that causes a struggle for creation and creatures is sin. Genesis 3:8 records the first instance of anxiety (fear, worry, dread) because they sinned breaking God’s command and heard Him walking in the Garden and Adam Eve hid in fear. Recognize this is separation anxiety which is the root of all other forms of anxiety. We need to return to the Lord and be reconnected to Him who is our peace, joy, sustenance and life.

Getting older with more health problems has caused me anxiety. When i was younger things didn't bother me so much but now i worry more as i age "what will we do if i can no longer drive (I'm the sole driver), who will be there to help us (we have no children or family to help us), and how can i help my husband if I'm not able (he has epilepsy). And thats just a few.
