I understand your concern about the impact of the interview and the choice of the interviewee. It is important to note that the decision to choose a serving officer's wife as an interviewee might have been made for various reasons, such as her availability, willingness to share her experience, and expertise on the subject matter. However, I agree with you that a real Veernari, who has experienced the challenges and trauma first-hand, would have brought a more authentic perspective to the interview. It is important to give voice to those who have actually lived through the experiences being discussed. In terms of making the interview more impactful, it might be helpful to follow up with a real Veernari in a subsequent interview or article. This can help to provide a more nuanced and detailed understanding of the challenges faced by Veernaris and the support they require. Additionally, it would be valuable to share resources and information on how individuals can support Veernaris and their families.
