degentrified typical punk comment...I could figure it out myself...just thought these fans would be more inclined on musical intrests...rather in it for attention.

Running a distortion into an equalizer (usually with the highs cranked) is a good first step. Metal zones, xtortion or other crappy "metal" pedals - especially with built in EQs is a good starting point. Use a loud amp with a clean channel and crank it as loud as it will get clean - don't max out the levels on all the pedals right away, start em at 12 o'clock and experiment. To get more noise punk style hiss you will want to experiment with fuzz pedals and a wah (just max the wah out and leave it). But Distort into EQ is the indispensable building block. You can also use a fuzz or chorus pedal on the boost channel just to crank the signal back up at the end. Most of these bands run one guitar through two amps so you will want to split the signal with an AB Y and then run both channels through a low impedance boss volume pedal at the end before running them to their respective amps. That way you can silence both amps. Just put the volume pedal last - and use the low impedance one! Good luck!
