This song was written by Of Valor and is inspired by the story of Ruth and Boaz in the Scriptures. This story portrays a perfect picture of Jesus our kinsman redeemer and the gentile bride who leaves everything she knows to become part of the His people Israel. We must meet Jesus at the threshing floor just as Ruth met with Boaz before becoming betrothed to him. This is where our Lord seperates the wheat from the chaff (our sin from within us) in which we can become pure and spotless, fit to become his bride, the holy bride of Christ.
