Religion had not banned multiple marriages
Man could have a mistress and a wife
Israel’s King: David
His wife: Michele
He had many other relations and kids, he did not have his own legal son, he has kids with other ladies
Jebusites planned to regain their rights and position, they planned to revolt and guerrilla warfare against King
Some people of the court of David were in support of Jebusites’ revolt
One of them was Achitophel ( An ambitious man)
He was an adviser of King David
He wanted to be King, or to destroy King David’s rule
