While writing his exposé against Renato (John Arcilla) for Delfin’s (Jaime Fábregas) incrimination, Teddy (Joel Torre) faces yet another resistance from Virgie (Shamaine Buencamino). In a twist of fate, Maj. Opeña (Shaina Magdayao) finds a beaten Cardo (Coco Martin) on the road. Despite the police captain's stubbornness, Maj. Opeña insists on treating his wounds, strengthening the bond between the two officials. Free from his obligations to Lily (Lorna Tolentino), Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) enacts his plan of making Capt. Dalisay's life a living hell by trying to win Alyana’s (Yassi Pressman) affection.
Unaware that Cardo (Coco Martin) decided to stay the night at Maj. Opeña's (Shaina Magdayao) house, Alyana (Yassi Pressman) grows terribly worried for her husband. Taking advantage of the situation, Juan (Romnick Sarmenta) reveals to Alyana what transpired between Cardo and Clarisse (Rhen Escaño). Seething with anger, the barangay captain storms the gates of the Paduas' residence to confront Clarisse. Back at the Presidential Palace, Lily's (Lorna Tolentino) resentment toward the household staff reaches a fever pitch.
