Taberna is an Iglesia ni Cristo member.... well of course we cannot be sure of the true intention behind the goal of the segment. It is true that the priests he featured on his show were former priests yet the story is one sided. It is lopsided. Be more attentive as to how the words are being used with the title segment. An ordinary viewer would easily be attracted and convinced with the title used. Can he not say he was once a former priest? This is clearly a media propaganda,

Eastern Catholics, in full communion with Rome, have optional celibacy. So we cannot say that Catholicism does not allow priests to be married, it is only out of ignorance that one can say such thing.

One of the reasons why I'm not a fan of ABSCBN documentaries. The story wasn't even portrayed or showed correctly, clearly this is a propaganda. Documentaries should be fair, not one sided. That's the problem in social media nowadays, so many one sided news circulating causing confusion and unwanted divisions.

Celibacy is a disciplinary law, not a doctrinal law. The priests are to be like Christ, Christ was never married and Christ said, ""Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel" (Mark 10:29, Luke 18:29, cf Matthew 19:29).

You don't need to be a Catholic priest to spread the words of God. You can marry and have children and still be the light! A man of God will be a good father to his family and will still save soul even if they are no longer a priest!

For me as faithfull Catholic I am approved and agree that A priest should marry because I observe that there are some priests commits sexual harassment also the reason destroy image of Church. I hope the Vatican will allow that law. God bless :-)

Actually there is a catholic ordinariate (Anglican ordinariate) which lets the married anglican-priests and even bishops became Catholic-priests and even to orthodox churches, which has full communion with the catholic church.

Hey, father, read 1Corinthians 7. If you need a wife, change religion. Catholicism is just one of many Christian churches. Aglipayan church is basically catholic without recognizing pope as head; and, they believed in optional celibacy.

Whether iniwan nila ang Holy Orders para sa makamundong pamumuhay o sila'y nasa simbahan pa rin pero piniling mag-asawa, they will be a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, pero hindi na valid yung pag-celebrate nila ng mass. Pero ito talaga ang hindi katanggap-tanggap sa mata ng lahat. 13:05-13:24

Why? Is there should be a something to make us a catholic? Religion is not important, what is more important is what kind of person we are. And, religions are among of the main reasons why people in this world are so judgmental. Just an opinion. ^_^

Mag spiritual communion nalang kayo. Try to confess and ask advice from Bishop if you may receive holy communion. Alam ko may dispensation ung pare na nag asawa

Tao rin kasi sila, wala namang masama pag mag asawa sila. Ang tao my mga pangangailang e, d ba? For me, wala talagang masama pag mag asawa sila. ^^ Mapag husga lang ang kumunidad natin... Yun ang problema, hindi ang pag aasawa ng mga pari.

Miski simpleng batas sa Bible di nila alam,,, Puro gawa gawa nlang nila.... alam lang dumaldal pero bobo sa Biblia..
