Wow! Finally, someone else who sees the possible beauty in things and loves refinishing furniture and adding special touches as much as I do. Amazing job on the dresser! In my opinion much better than the pottery barn piece. Not to mention the feeling it gives to be able to look around you and realize the beauty you've added to the decor in your home. Two thumbs up and a 🙌!

I've been working on rethinking and renovating my (rented) flat over the last months, and - as an experienced craftista - have of course browsed hundreds of IKEA hacks in the process. Yours are literally the only ones I have come across that not only look really, really professional *and* classy, but are super well explained and doable - even for someone like me who doesn't have access to a fully stocked woodworking shop. ;) Thank you *so* much for sharing all your creativity and know-how with us!

I agree that she's an incredible talent, but she's also a smart business woman. I believe that she's doing exactly what she wants for this period in her life. When you are passionate about what you're doing, you have the best job in the world. This is a job, and she works plenty of hours, while she's helping out thousands of people learn how to decorate on a budget. With her experience and talent she could be the most highly sought after designer anywhere that she was. Have you watched other people's videos? Her productions are nothing short of professional all the way. Money isn't the top of everyone's priorities. I am a business woman, who has owned multiple businesses. I owned a major company all by myself, and as a single mother. The money that I made wasn't worth the time it cost me to be away from my children. In my opinion, she's doing exactly what she wants to do, when she wants to do it. I have more admiration and respect for her than most of the millionaires that I ever worked with in my life. She's found a way to have it all.

Hack #9, 35:50!: Tabletop Fire Pit! Made a "fire pit!" for my youngest daughter who just bought her first house! So proud of her! Sat in her backyard over a glass of Reisling (mine watered down by almost all ice)--and, she said, "Oh, Mom, what I want is a some kind of central heat for when fall sets in, to set on my outdoor table, for when the weather starts to change--and, we can all sit outdoors!" "Ding! Design to the Nines, Tabletop Fire Pit!" She absolutely loves it! (Gave her enough of the 6-hour fuel to last a year, I'm certain (plus ingredients to make S'mores)! Thank you!

A solar powered idea that I can actually use! The Summer is the only time we have sun, for more than 3 hours a day, because we have pretty much 24 hours of sunlight. We are so used to seeing Lowe’s carry solar powered lights. We always wonder why they bother because they don’t work where we live, as it doesn’t get dark until winter. Then the snow and bitter cold prevent solar lights from working. However, a solar water feature would be perfect outside our bedroom. All “night” long we can listen to the sound of water and relax. Ahhhh. Thank you! You are very clever like a friend of mine, that’s been a neighbor, on and off, in our husbands former career. She sounds like you and has the same laugh (and jokes). She is absolutely creative and wonderful. Your channel is like me visiting my wonderful Cathy! -She has a lavender farm now!!

This was my first time watching and really enjoyed. Pretty neat stuff. I love seeing people take regular type items and making them into something special with a bit of a unique twist. I am curious about the chalk paint on fabric though and how it holds up to washing. I've never really used it so I'm not familiar with it. I paint on canvas using acrylic so the few times I've painted on fabric, I just add a medium (to my acrylic paint) that's designed to make the paint better for fabrics. It does require heat setting though. It holds up really well.

I love your enthusiasm and your giggle...makes me laugh. Your ideas are great. They make me rethink different projects I have in mind. I've painted murals on most of the grey cinder block walls in my backyard. I don't have a cool machine to create stencils but I do have a method to create my own. It's work but worthwhile. Keep up the awesome videos. 😊

Loved the mirrored chest! Here are the reasons I love your channel: Your designs are impeccable; as a grad of the Cleveland Institute Of Art (back when it was hard to get in) I was taught by the best, so I know good design; Your workmanship is absolutely the best to be seen on You Tub; your explanations are so very clear and never condescending; you are so empowering! There! Thank you so much

The 2 l little baskets reminds me of my grandmother.. She had a big basket like that, she made a sewing box out of it. She sectioned it off, lined it with cloth, and sewed a big huge button on it to fasten it up. Your are so adorable. Just brought back sweet memories

NataLee these are all so amazing. My favorite would be a tie between the gray dresser and the table top firepit. You never cease to amaze friend. I had the same issue with the solar water pump...worked great but shot the water over the sides.

I totally agree with you I love everything she does. I look forward watching every show.I watche.all of her hers first. I love and I have watched just about all of them. I have three favorite she's my number one and the Latino next door is number two and number three sadly I got a new phone and I cannot think of her name. She has long hair I guess you would call it dirty blonde or light brown. She was on the show with Lone Fox one time. If anyone knows who I'm talking about please let me know her name I miss her show so much. I also love Lone Fox!
