European servers where people are sometimes decent the dice roll might work. In west US it's hard to even give away free supplies without being brutally double gunner'd and hearing 4000 slurs 💀

@@JJJJ-lk8wj Oh yeah for sure, but then arena would draw the worst kind of players. Not only them, mind, but the risk that a random player you met would be a toxic piece of shit would was significantly higher in arena than in adventure. At least Arena didn't have people who called you slurs for pvp-ing in a pvp game, so it wasn't worse in every regard.

Entire reason it was during Christmas is so when people complain about how hard it is to level up (rightfully so) Rare can turn around and say "well we gave you a double xp event so you had the chance 🤷‍♂️"

@@MandaloreTheDeciever443 who tf is saying it’s hard to level up in anything. Pirate legend is the equivalent of a crab lord at this point. Skeleton curse is easy to get because of the cheaters, Xbox only server players ect. I got my friend to level 50 in reapers and he has like 1 day on the game. Levels are very easy to get. Rare has ruined pirate legend and has ruined progression. Only grind left is the 1000 levels in hourglass and that’s not really something to be proud of.

I turn off my music when I'm recording. Unfortunatly the music slider is tied to the sound of you hitting a ship. So I actually had no clue if I had hit him or not.

I named a sloop "We Sink so You Win" and just let them launch a single cannon at us. Since I did not scuttle I get rep and since the battle is quick I can get overall rep at roughly 2/3rds the rate of actually winning a battle or two and then getting sunk before being ale to lower hour glass.

I wouldn't have chance to try any of those things because my experience with hourglass (100+ servants, 50+ guardians) is I'll be sniped to death from some guy named 'ImAHackerLOL' on his ship named 'OnlyBans' or some such. I finally achieved one curse. Used the dice roll method it’s just loading times can be awful. I did fight a bit but I was running with a sweat for a bit. (We don’t sail anymore because he was bit small minded about other people)
