They are a beautiful little reel and on my List of Objects of ♡ Desire. ♤ Reproduction of the famous 1970s Cardinal 33/3 by ABU. # This blue version came out in 2021. Other Reproduction C3 date back to the 90s. They are the green ones. Perfect for small streams !

The ABU Cardinal 3, 4&4X, 5 reel foot 84-00 are imo the best version of these kind of reels ever made. Yes, the 70s reels and the newly made Japanese version of them are beautiful, but technologically speaking the mechanics in the 84-00 is superior.
