Our Abyssinian loved walking too. He used to catch eels in the pond at the bottom of our driveway and climb the orchard trees with us. He would try and follow us to school! I miss him so much.

Mine enjoyed walking when she was younger but after she became adult, she got scared easily .... during her last few years, she didn't want to go outside ...

How cute! My abyssinian was just 3 months old last summer and we have been every day in the nature. She loved that so much so as I 😃💗 I love winter but looking forward to Spring because of these Walks 😌

What are the laws in NZ? My DSH (who I suspect has aby heritage, I cannot wait until I can do DNA on her) loves walking on her harness and we have visited a couple of natural areas but National Parks are strict no go zones for cats in Australia. Would love to be able to walk her somewhere like this!

I bought it from Amazon, Pet Gear. it is not the most comfortable pack to have on your back. It has wheels on the bottom and can be used in several ways

What harness is she using? My Abyssinian is really good at getting out of any harness I buy.

Debra I Brought the harness in NZ. It is called Good2Go. If Maaya pulls backwards she could get out of it. She doesn’t tend to that when she is out walking but I’m always conscious that she is able to escape. She is a pretty chilled little cat and isn’t easily spooked.
