I’m surprised AC/DC even acknowledged this. They usually don’t like to talk about ex band members. Rest in peace. Can I sit next to you girl is a great song that started it all!

Things went south professionally but he remained friends with his former band mates. Particularly with Bon Scott.

@@logenvestfold4143 I wouldn't be surprised if they were friends earlier though. Bon was good mates with Billy Thorpe long before AC/DC formed. Maybe the same goes for Colin.

@@warrenbridges1891 oh most definitely, I believe Bon even knew George Young before joining AC/DC. If I remember correctly he was initially their chauffeur, but he met George while touring with The Valentines and Fraternity. George pushed Malcolm and Angus to replace Dave Evans with Bon as vocalist, but Bon wanted to audition for drums at the time.

Known and played with Colin for around 34 years. One of my best mates. Yhe picture with the scarf was taken at the local club near where we live and we played there many times. I am filling in for him with his latest band and played at his memorial concert last week with his brother Drnny and a host of other great friends and musicians. Still can't believe it. He was one in more than a million and I honestly don't think you'll every find another like him again. Love you man and where've you are, safe travels.

@@btharp_drumz Colin was already a legend in Masters Apprentices. His work on their "Choice Cuts" album in 1971 was so cool. As an all round drummer, I rate him above Phil.

Rudd loves the meth and gang life. Brought shame to New Zealand. Was still playing for them when he was on the meth. But the original drummer was drunk and lost his place? They either lying or hypocrites.
