Angus, the lead guitarist, was a teenage schoolboy when he formed the band, often turning up for practice in his high school uniform straight after school. He kept it as his signature outfit to this day.

Yes, the movement across the stage is called the duck walk. It became famous when Chuck Berry busted that move out in his stage performance.

The guitarist up front is Angus Young. He is literally famous for exactly that - unlimited energy and nonstop movement across the stage. He does it for several hours straight at their concerts. He's the fan favorite of AC/DC for that very reason. It's incredible.

I saw them in 1978 at a Rock Super Bowl in Florida and they opened for Boston and Poco! They blew me away!!! First time I saw someone go down into the crowd and play the guitar! Fire!

Go to AC/DC Live at River Plate Start with the "cartoon version of Angus..The start of the showRunaway train,, crashes through the stage and the crowd go NUTS!!!! just watch the whole show and pick your favorite.. AC/DC live in Munich2001,,, The 1st show i worked was the 1996 Liveat "Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas{I recommend this concert,, the crowd singing along was CRAZY!!

Angus Young definitely one of the if not the highest energy guitarist in history. Most guitar players stand still when they are playing. I think Angus might mess up if he were to stand still. He's constantly moving and running around and spinning in circles on the floor. All and never missing a note. Truly extra ordinary. And He's only 5ft 2in tall.

AC/DC is a bomb band and they had phenomenal success with Brian Johnson, the lead singer here and with their original lead singer Bon Scott who died in the very early ‘80’s. Not many bands can have so much success after losing their main front man. I originally started listening to them in the Bon Scott years so that music holds a special place in my heart, you should try Let there be rock, dirty deeds, It’s a long way to the top, and for a laugh try Big Balls, gotta love all the double entendre in that song

Keep in mind that Angus (Young) the lead guitarist is 66 and STILL moves, hops and skips around the stage like this to this very day !! I’m 53 and have problems climbing 17 steps to my apartment. lol ✌️

Fast forward about 15 yrs.. check out AC/DC Live at River Plate 2009 .... spoiler alert,, 200,000 people there 60,000 on the floor alone. the craziest tour I worked.. 3 days here and the crowd was INSANE!!!!

When listening to ACDC don't start off by the River Plate show. In Argentina the famous sport is ⚽. And that stadium gets like that for any band playing there. But when ⚽ is played there , it fills up 10 times more. And I'm a River Plate ⚽ fan. It's my home team.

I was in 9th grade when this came out. My metalhead friends and I were headbanging to it at a school dance and a huge group of football players surrounded us. We braced ourselves for a fight. Turns out they wanted to pay us to teach them to headbang! We "taught" them for free and made some friends that night!!!

Angus has been doing the duckwalk, the headbanging and the facial especially since pretty much the beginning of the band which I believe was 1973. You should look at the live 1976 performance of AC/DC - It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll. Angus was 21 I believe.

Bon Scott was the original lead singer for 6 years. After he past away the band considered breaking up but they knew Bon would want them to go on. With big shoes to fill, Brian Johnson took over as lead for the next 36 years. Angus Young is a phenomenal guitarist known for his ripping solos, wearing a school boy outfit, & "duck walk". Everyone loves Angus. AC/DC is one of the most beloved bands ever - consistently in the top 10. The rabbit hole is deep with fun, catchy rock songs. I believe this was filmed at Brixton Academy. Check out Whole Lotta Rosie at River Plate, a stadium that holds 72,000+ people. Mindblowing.
