That's lifetime of experience right there, the dude has been doing that since he was a child. I saw an interview with his older brother where he told that he and his friends had a band when they were teenagers and Angus would basically crash their practice all the time and just do non-stop solos and jump around like the little ADHD monster he must have been and the brothers just went "you can't just solo all the time for the whole song" and Angus just went "why not?" And kept soloing and that's basically how AC/DC eventually got its sound 😂

The move that Angus the lead guitar player was doing was called "the duck walk" that was popularized by rock 'n' roll guitarist Chuck Berry, a classic 1950's black guitarist from America. AC/DC's roots began with their love, like many other classic bands of American rock and blues music. Angus has kept the duck walk alive and is now synonymous with it. That soul you are hearing is that toe tapping bluesy sound they were influenced by from black American blues and rock artists.

yeah they play in buenos aires in 96 and then came back in 2009, fun fact about the concerts is that there were buildings shaking and cracking near the stadium for the earth movement off the people jumping in the field ( this also happen in footbal matches, all people jumping but they are in the stands so there is no impact directly on ground) after this show concerts were banned in river stadium.

You can hear the audience chanting "Thunder!" all through the intro. I am commenting as I watch. Yes, they could easily sell out a football or soccer stadium in just a few minutes. You had to be FAST to get a ticket. I missed three times before I got a ticket and had to camp out for two days to get it. 3000 fans, not their largest. The floor shook and you could hear us chanting and screaming for blocks around. You took three lighters with you because you'd burn out at least two holding them aloft while lit. You had a seat, but five minutes in that did not matter. We were in the aisles and ON the seats dancing and singing. We did not go to concerts to sit quietly and listen. We went to concerts to jam with the band. When we left, we were worn out!

AC/DC played for roughly 40 years. When they played a concert they left it out there. Malcom and Angus were brothers Malcom was The Rhythm guitar and Angus the lead and front man. They were from Australia and started playing in pubs.

I remember as a kid in the late 70s when my uncle intro'd AC/DC to me, he handed me a tennis racket and we both headbanged to them. My neck hurt like a SOB the next day but it was the most fun I've had discovering a band's music. 🤘🏼

First big live show I ever saw. LA guns opened for AC/DC at the Seattle coliseum . 1991 Razors edge tour. Still to this day the loudest concert I have seen, and I have been to a lot of shows.

ACDC is definitely best tasted live!!!! If you got the chops do the song “Let There Be Rock” from the same concert. Angus does damn near 18 minutes of kicking ass guitar work and a solo in the air. Granted it is a longer video than most to get by the censors but the time flys and it probably is the greatest performance of all time. You won’t be disappointed!!!! Just saying!!!! So says Austin Tx. 😎🍸

Please keep in mind that they were in their late 50s to 60s during that performance. I believe AC/DC's first album came out in 1972. It says a lot that there are 25-year-olds in the crowd getting pumped up for guys that are 57 to 60 years old playing their asses off. It's blues/old school rock and it is timeless. Brian Johnson's (singer) voice was different 25 years before this performance, but he was still rocking it out at that time. They're just a band that loves to play rock and roll, loves to feel the energy of the crowd, and loves to have a good time. RIP to Malcolm.

If I had to trade studio-clean sound for them rocking a crowd, with AC/DC I'll take rocking the crowd. With some other bands I'd prefer the studio version, but these guys are worth the slight drop in audio quality for seeing what their live show looks like.

As some of the other commenters have mentioned, the move the guitarist is doing is called the "duck walk," which was popularized by one of the absolute monsters of rock and roll (and some say the originator), Chuck Berry.

I'm 59. I've seen their concert 3 different times. When they first came to the US and they had the singer (rip) Bonscott aka sweaty bod (I saw your TNT video) lol The lead guitar player Angus Young is a self taught player. Just like fine wine, the older he is the better he jams! Angus Young brother is playin base. They both formed the band in the late '70s Their fan base is 3 generations of vibin and rock'n together!

These guys have been rock legends rockin out for decades. Ever since Angus (the guitarist) was rushing home from school still in his school uniform to play (hence his school uniform he wears on stage). Not many bands can still be awesome decades later. And no one rocks out like Angus lol. It's really cool to see some old clips of them and compare them to the newer ones where they still kick ass and see how great they are
