To celebrate 20 years of Disney On Broadway, ABC aired “Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years.” The special, hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), gave unprecedented backstage access with the Broadway casts of Disney’s “The Lion King," “Aladdin” and the North American Tour of “Newsies”.
“Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years,” also features music from the Disney on Broadway catalog, including special musical performances from Sir Elton John, Sam Palladio and Clare Bowen (ABC’s “Nashville”), Ashley Brown (“Mary Poppins”) and Darren Criss (“Glee”).

It's a G1, but probably sung with vocal fry, and lots of editing. If you really want to be blown away, and hear someone singing that note without any editing and with lots of power, search youtube for "Glenn Miller G1", one of the world's most powerful bass voices. If you want to hear it in context search for "Glenn Miller - Do Not Reject Me in My Old Age". Remember, he is singing in choir setting and without microphones!

there's a way to say "Fake" the note kind of like falsetto but they call it growl tone. it's not the best for your voice and I can speak to that but if you want to hit it, try

It was chest because i cant here any fry and theres a smooth transition to the note so its not subharmonics and its not to breathy so its not a growl so if its not chest what could it be

I was in a choir clinic where the group voiceplay was teaching us how to do what they do. The low notes is interesting considering how geoff said that we bassists need to breathe in while singing at a very low decimal rate. With a microphone it makes it easier to hit the notes with minimal effort. Still though, Geoff is one of the few people who can pull it off with little effort.

2:18 This edit is at least 2 years after stamping this time. 1 year after making this time stamp, I had strengthened my subharmonics enough to hit these kinds of notes on a good day. Now, 2 years later, I can do this at will. If you are a baritone/bass, I encourage you to practice subharmonics. The technique will strengthen the reverb in your normal chest voice as well. You will hit notes that you never thought you could, and your girl will throw her panties at you. Don’t stress your voice too much, stop any time that you feel discomfort. But if you keep tinkering and playing with the technique, you will feel it click.

Mr.Bass your a beast. I'm a bass too but no where near that quality. Mr. Tenor.1 You have a voice of gold. That seems so effortless. Mr. Beat boxer. I love how you sing and beat box in the same song. Mr. Tenor.2 You have a very great sound love it. And Mr. Baritone can you come sing in my barbershop chorus because you have such a nice voice. All of what I said is not just directed at one of you but all of you. Love you guys wish I was that good. Sorry I don't know your names I'm new to you guys.
