WOW! Great job on the P-40, the review, and research information! I agree.....P-40 is underrated. It held the line until P-51s, P-38s, etc. arrived.

Great build. I recommend you build the airfix bf109 e4 1/72 scale it’s a really good kit

When brush painting Tamiya, how long do you wait for each coat to dry before applying another coat?

Typically I just wait until the coat looks dry which is normally about 15-30min. Can vary a bit depending on how large the surface area is that I painted and also the climate, especially I if it’s wet and humid, then it can sometimes take an hour. Hope that helps and thanks for watching😁👍🏻

Definitely not haha, they talk about the P-40 needing to be flown in a very careful manner to come out on top, mainly using boom and zoom tactics since the Zero was so nimble.😁

This is part of them being under-rated. P-40s achieved really good kill ratios against the Japanese if flown properly, even in 1943/4. This kit is indeed a little gem. Lole many Academy kits, it is, um, 'inspired' by Hasegawa kits. They copied the good fit, but gave us better cockpits, etched panels lines and low prices.

The knob jockey reveals himself. What's the emoji sequence for "you're a c♡n!" ? Damn impressive, brush painting acrylics is too hard for me. And the 'Polly' looks amazing.
