The TDI was tested at 9 deg C, the TSI at 23 deg C. The air will be denser at 9C, but more importantly, the intercooler will work better at 9C than 23C.

I test couple car with turbo disel engine diffrenc in acceleration on the same road at -5 vs + 30 Celsius was very small 👌🏻

But at lower temp acceleration time was lil better .

Zrywał start bo do 50 tdi przyspieszył szybciej albo tsi ma mniej masy na przodzie albo gorsze warunki testu były mniejsza przyczepność ale potem tsi przyspiesza lepiej cały czas aż do vmaxa 👍🏻

@@ThenameisOskar im not sure, 1,6tdi has less ps. So basically you can tune it to 150ps. In this test tdi was better 0-100 so in city it’s more useful than “killing” car to maximum. And consider that diesel will live much longer than tsi. For me diesel is better and funnier to drive with family, tsi is good for young dudes to drive crazy.

@@jmsmeja8341 I can be considered as a "young guy". I drive a 2.0tdi 150hp running at 200hp+ 450nm+. Its funny to chase stock gti's with it. They dont expect a diesel to be that quick. 😂

Petrol always must be 20-30 hp in + to be fast as diesel,thats why i love diesel.

Diesel is always better, but you didn't specify where. I agree with you only if we are talking about field machines..Class, John Deere, New Holland, etc. Good luck !

@@kenankoca7404 yep tdi was test in lower temperaturę so engine makes more power and driver in tsi launch it bad from to low rpm where it have max nm but small power thats why he accelerate so slow at couple first metres still hit 100 first 👍🏻 but im agree that diffrenc when test be some corect be biger offcorse 👍🏻 the same temp both launch good and tsi be much quicker to 100 km/h 👌🏻
