Gian - Phillipe Lomeña according to chapter five of the instruction manual, this applies: 1. never completely open the throttle the first 350 km. 2. Never exceed 80% for each gear ratio the first 350 km. And later in the same chapter - do not drive at maximum speed the first 1600 km. strange. but the instruction manual is written for an unrestricted engine. If you cut the green cable now, do not drive faster than 50 km / h the following 150 km. then you should take it a little quiet and do not drive faster than 65 km / h the following 1300 km.

The idea of ​​run-in is to let the parts take away small irregularities. See it as if the parts get to know each other. Metal chips are stuck in the oil filter (which seems to be difficult to clean yourself). hard driving increases the stresses and can create leakage and other boring things. I have driven 969 km now with only small issues. Remember to tighten the chain...

Two people (swedish size = 80kgx2) don't sit very comfortably on the original seat as it has a hump at the back. And expect to drive in second gear on hills.

Hi...update: I have unrestricted the Mash Fifty EURO 4 model, simply bij pulling out the green cable as shown in different youtube video's. The green cable on my Mash Fifty was even labelled with a sticker that said "45 km limiter"! So I didn't have to look far for choosing the right cable. It made the Mash Fifty drive approx. 75 KM/Hr...

Gian - Phillipe Lomeña No problemas. Use a wire terminal block connector or a spring connector to fix the cable. Make sure to scale of a few millimeters of the green plastic from the ends of the cable so that the metal inside becomes visible. Strange sound, yes. With higher engine revs, there will be more vibration and higher wear. It can be almost anything. Check regularly that all nuts are properly tightened. on my moped the nuts that hold the exhaust pipe in the cylinder became loose. Also, the setting screw of the clutch wire on the left handle was loosened.

I also had the metal whining noise at 50-55 km/h after 55km/h it was gone. Now couple Kms further and it doesn't has this sound anymore more. Dunno what it was but it had probably to do with driving the bike in that it was still new.

Jonathan Jensen Hi, same in Sweden, tough laws. This mop is made to handle speeds of up to 80 km / h. Frame and brakes can handle it but it's nothing the police care about. You can switch to a slightly smaller gearwheel in the rear and bigger in the engine, but then it will get very sluggish. One alternative is to disconnect the cdi and put a gearwheel with one or two fewer teeth in the engine and as many more on the rear wheel. With the right amount of teeth you get a strong and reasonably fast machine. Probably illegal.

Sorry for reaching out to you again. How did you import the Mash Fifty to Sweden? Which dealer? And what did you do with registration of a bike not sold in you country? Im very interested in buying this bike - but would be gutted if i can't get it registrated. Is there any other way i can reach out to you if i have other questions. thank you in advance

Jonathan Jensen No problem at all: It was a bit of paperwork, but I think it is the same rules throughout the EU. I documented the entire process and can summarize it in a new movie. My moped had never been registered in the EU and it meant some extra challenges. most importantly, make sure the seller provide you a cvc certificate and a customs declaration from the moment the machine first arrived at the EU from China. If it has been registered in another EU country, it is much easier. I bought mine in Latvia but if I had lived in Denmark I had checked with Germany first.

I assume you mean the COC certificate/document? :) I know of a seller in Flensborg in Germany, who can deliver it to Denmark - but he does not have any experience with registration in Denmark, so I have to do it myself. Are there any other good things to know about the bike itself or the process of importing to my country?

Jonathan Jensen haha, sorry, yes CoC. Don’t expect a CVC. There may be discussions about VAT if the vehicle is new (less than six months or driven less than a certain number of miles, do not remember exactly). If the vehicle is new, you will pay VAT in Denmark and not in Germany. But resellers would like to have the VAT directly. Then you will have to pay twice to later claim the difference (if the VAT is different in the countries) - by German authorities. If mopeden is considered as used and has been registered in Germany, you should only order a new Danish registration plate. I guess that Transporterhverets Uddannelserådet can help you with details.

Tackar! Jajamen, den är kvar. Passerar 1000 mil i år. Tänkte göra en film om erfarenheterna. Inga stora grejer, egentligen. Kedjan behöver spännas oväntat ofta, frambromsen gnisslar trist ibland, vissa muttrar behöver dras åt löpande. Småsaker. Tror att den nya modellen har elektronisk insprutning och EDU(?) istället för cdi. Kan vara knepigare.

Timo199x hmm, strange. I don't think it has to do with how many kilometers you have driven. must be something with the gearbox. What Euro version do you have?

Just the green cable. And it seems that the gearbox likes the higher revs. First gear 0-20 km/h, second gear 20-45 km/h, third gear 45-60 and fourth 60+. Run out of road so I had to stop before top speed. Under ideal conditions, it can reach 80 km / h.

Mash Fifty of Sweden hi. I have done the trick with cutting the green cable. It works but the gearbox doesnt seem to change for me. I still have 40kmh in 4th gear. Maybe its because I only have driven 80km on it.

Hugo Sturkenboom Very strange! Do you rev the enginge on the lower gears? My Fifty makes 40-45 on second gear but if I change gear on low revs it strugles to reach top speed.

Emil Troedsson Hej! Kul, det behövs fler Mash i Sverige. Jag åkte färja till Riga och köpte min. Det blev en del pappersarbete men Trafikverket och Skatteverket var vänliga och tålmodiga. Min hade aldrig registrerats inom EU så det blev någon extra blankett. Om du importerar är mitt råd att köpa en som är registrerad i inköpslandet. Annars: Se till att du får CoC-dokumentet (Certificate of Conformity) och tulldokumentet som beskriver när och hur mopeden kom in i EU. Det finns en återförsäljare i Finland också som har bra ryckte.

Emil Troedsson Och vill du ha en maskin som går att ”trimma” bara genom att klippa av en sladd är det viktigt att du väljer miljöklass Euro 3.

Hej igen, Emil. Jag känner faktiskt bara till en annan Mash 50cc i Sverige (Stockholm) och tyvärr ingen återförsäljare. Det är inte supersvårt att importera men det kan kännas svårare med garanti och sånt. Men det är inga skumma specialdelar så allt går att fixa.
