With the fourth of July just one week away, the city is gearing up for its own Independence Day celebration: Stars and Stripes Over Framingham. The family friendly event- complete with musical performances, food trucks, and of course a dazzling display of fireworks over farm pond- makes its return following last year’s successful relaunch. Of course a lot of planning goes into preparing for the thousands of attendees that will enjoy the festivities. With that in mind, The Frame caught up with Framingham Fire Chief Mike Dutcher to learn more about the city’s preparations for Stars and Stripes, and what you can expect at the event!
