Thank You. Very helpful video. I'm an X-S10 user and wanted an L Bracket so I can attach the camera to my tripod in portrait mode to do some panoramic stitch photos. Your video confirmed to me that the SmallRig L Bracket is the one to get. Cheers

Great video, David. For the X-S10 the cage and L-bracket seem a bit unnecessary unless you're doing very serious video and need to have a monitor. But good to know the options out there.

Quick question, for the XS10, I see that you use the mic jack for the trigger. Does it mean that we won't be able to use any external microphone if we want to use an external trigger as well? Is this a correct conclusion? Thank you

That is correct it’s either a mic or a trigger not both. I record all audio externally so it isn’t an issue for me.

That cage for x-s10 will quickly damage the screen

Never have had a problem with any Smallrig cages damaging screens so don’t see how this one will be any different.

Very useful vid - thank you! I’m an XS10 user, and have a follow up question on how the L-bracket affects the range of motion of the LCD flip screen. Based on your vid, and the smallrig.com website, the L-Bracket allows only partial range of motion of the Flip screen, and that requires adjusting part of the the rig to move it forward. In your experience, are these serious constraints in practice? I find myself using the flip-capabilities a lot (especially when camera is on a tripod) and am concerned that the benefits of the Lbracket might be outweighed by the constraints. Thanks for any further advice you can offer.

Thank you for your comment, the L bracket does restrict some movement but doesn’t effect the overall usability of the screen or camera.
