Hi, sorry to hear that mate, bloody horrible when something like that happens. I’ve stopped taking lurcher pups out walking with adult lurchers now due to the accidents of them running and playing then bang into each other, nightmare. Also if anyone is out lamping and notice’s farm machinery in the field, don’t even slip the dog. Guaranteed what ever the quarry is it will run towards it. It’s just not worth it!

These things happen sometimes mate it's shit but the sad reality sometimes.......I know what you mean a farm we lamp has a big roller up against the hedge most of the rabbits make for that......we don't slip the dogs anywhere near it we know what will happen........last season my lurcher was on a rabbit on the lamp rabbit dived in the hedge he dived after it......heard a metallic thump......he came out with the bunny but had injured his shoulder......turned out there was an old water trough that the hedge had grown around........could of been a disaster luckily nothing serious.......its a risk every time you slip the dog really

Yeah that’s true mate, every time you skip them or a terrier goes to ground you never know the outcome unfortunately. These things happen. All the best and I hope you have something to run this season 👍

Thanks mate yes I still have my lurcher so all not lost......that's why I like having 2 working dogs always got one to fall back on👍 all the best with your season mate hope it's a great one

RIP Jet A cracking little dog that knew her job and did it well. Will always remember how steady she was when we were doing my hedge and she was road side, bloody brilliant! 👌

This is proper shite news fella, Jet was a cracking li’ll girl. We’ll all miss her specially you guys and Bryn. Yes accidents happen but it’s always shite when they do :-(

It's gutting mate iv been with other people when there dogs have awful accidents and it's horrible to see......its hard when you've put years into a dog and within seconds it's over......she will deffo be missed this season......but we are gonna carry on with the rabbiting these things happen with working dogs
